Collin McHugh surrendered four runs in four innings to take a loss to the Cardinals on Monday. McHugh pitched a gem Aug. 23 in his major league debut, but his second start didn't go so well. He allowed six hits, including a homer, a triple and a double. McHugh isn't guaranteed to remain in the rotation, but he'll likely make at least a couple of more spot starts this month.

Mets recalled RHP Collin McHugh fro Triple-A Buffalo. McHugh will start for the Mets on Monday afternoon in St. Louis. The young right-hander struck out nine batters over seven scoreless innings last month in his major league debut and may be worth streaming in deeper mixed fantasy leagues against the slumping Cardinals offense.

Mets optioned RHP Collin McHugh to Triple-A Buffalo. McHugh turned in a dominant major-league debut against the Rockies on Thursday, fanning nine in seven scoreless innings, but the Amazins needed to clear a roster spot for Jeremy Hefner, who came off the paternity list on Friday. McHugh will certainly be back once rosters are expanded, and worth streaming in NL-only leagues.
