Coco Crisp (calf) is not in Sunday's lineup. No surprise. Crisp had to exit Saturday's game with a strained calf, and we assumed he'd sit out a minimum of one game. He's considered day-to-day and could possibly return on Tuesday following Monday's off day.

Coco Crisp has been diagnosed with a strained calf and is in doubt to start Sunday's game. Crisp was removed from Saturday's 8-0 win against the Rays after going 2-for-5 with two runs and four stolen bases. Ryan Sweeney took over in center field for the veteran speedster. It seems as if Crisp should be fine after a day or two of rest.

Coco Crisp had two hits, two steals and two runs scored Saturday against the Twins. A healthy Crisp makes for a nice trade target, and the Red Sox and Braves are believed to have some degree of interest. He's up to 29 steals for the year.

Gordon Edes of ESPN Boston reports that the Red Sox are interested in outfielder Coco Crisp. The Red Sox acquired Mike Aviles on Saturday and plan to try him in the outfield, but they'd rather add another player who is more familiar with the position. Enter Crisp. The 31-year-old has a weak .702 OPS on the season, but he'd provide great speed off the Boston bench and he has good range defensively.

ESPN's Buster Olney reports that the Braves have had "internal discussions" about Coco Crisp. The Braves have been craving consistent production in center field all season, and Crisp might be able to provide it if used correctly. The 31-year-old speedster has batted .280/.322/.412 this season against right-handed hitters.

CBS Sports' Danny Knobler reports that the Brewers have interest in the A's Coco Crisp. Milwaukee is looking for some center field depth with Carlos Gomez's injury. But, we're not sure Crisp is really an upgrade over Nyjer Morgan, especially since Crisp has been better against right-handers (.283) than against left-handers (.230). The Indians and Reds have also expressed interest in the A's outfielder.

Sports Illustrated's Jon Heyman reports the Reds have joined the Indians in looking into A's center fielder Coco Crisp. Were the Reds to acquire Crisp, it would almost certainly be to man left field, though it's arguable he'd be a better option than Chris Heisey at this point. Crisp seems much more likely end up back in Cleveland than he does in Cincinnati.

According to Jon Heyman of SI.com, the Indians are "eyeing" Athletics' center fielder Coco Crisp. With Grady Sizemore on the disabled list with another knee injury, the Indians are considering potential upgrades for their outfield. Crisp, of course, spent the first four years of his major-league career with the Indians. The 31-year-old impending free agent is batting .265/.315/.385 with four homers, 31 RBI and 27 stolen bases in 375 plate appearances this season. Heyman adds that the Indians have also checked in on Padres' outfielder Ryan Ludwick and that the Reds could also be in the mix for both players.

Coco Crisp collected two of just six A's hits in their 2-0 loss to the Rangers on Sunday. Oakland failed to record an extra-base hit in falling to 39-53 to end the first half. Now 12 games out of first place, it would be far from surprising if A's GM Billy Beane opts to sell off players like Crisp and Josh Willingham ahead of this month's non-waiver trade deadline.

Coco Crisp went 1-for-4 with his 24th stolen base in Oakland's 3-0 loss to the Marlins on Wednesday. Crisp did so hitting out of the third spot in Oakland's lineup for the ninth time this season. He's hit .324 when doing so, but Crisp is obviously not a long-term solution in anyone's three-spot. His 24 swipes are second only behind Jacoby Ellsbury's 25 in the American League.
