Owings went 2-for-5 with solo home run during Wednesday's loss to Washington.
EDGE Analysis
It's been a spectacular start to the season for Owings, as he's already up to 14 runs, five home runs, 21 RBI, eight stolen bases and a .313/.358/.525 slash line. He's also spending plenty of time batting second in front of Paul Goldschmidt -- a cushy lineup spot. While it's difficult to envision Owings maintaining this torrid pace, there would have to be a prolonged and crippling slump before it's a legitimate fantasy concern.

Owings is not in the lineup for Sunday's game against the Rockies.
EDGE Analysis
Owings has yet to cool down to begin the 2017 season, collecting 28 hits over his first 88 at-bats for a blistering .318 average. He'll get the day off Sunday and be replaced by Nick Ahmed, but expect Owings to be back in the lineup Tuesday against the Nationals.

Owings went 2-for-3 with a pair of solo homers and added a stolen base in Thursday's 6-2 win over the Padres.
EDGE Analysis
This is beginning to look like a breakout season for Owings, whose four homers on the campaign already put him two off a career best. The boost in power coupled with Owings' contributions as a base stealer make him a true five-category threat while he maintains a lofty .325 average for the season. Owings has been the beneficiary of a .379 BABIP -- more than 50 points above his career mark -- but even with some expected regression in batting average to come, he's unlikely to be a liability in the category.

Owings went 2-for-4 with three RBI and one run in Tuesday's 9-3 win over the Padres.
EDGE Analysis
Owings was caught stealing for the first time all season, but that won't diminish what was another excellent night for the versatile 25-year-old, who has been a standout performer through the Diamondbacks' first 22 games. The Padres won't be sad to bid adieu to Owings when they leave Arizona following Thursday's game, as he's already racked up four hits and seven RBI in the first two games of the series.

Owings went 2-for-4 with a grand slam and a stolen base in Monday's 7-6 win over the Padres.
EDGE Analysis
The homer was his second on the season, and Owings has now driven in 13 runs and has five stolen bases to go along with a .319/.356/.464 slash line. The 25-year-old super-utility player is one of the more underrated fantasy commodities in baseball. He can contribute modestly in the home run and RBI departments while also providing 20-steal speed in deep mixed formats.

Owings is not in the lineup for Sunday's game against the Dodgers.
EDGE Analysis
Owings is off to a very encouraging start to the 2017 season, but will head to the bench Sunday against Brandon McCarthy and the Dodgers. Nick Ahmed will take over as the starting shortstop in his absence.

Owings is not in the lineup Wednesday against the Padres.
EDGE Analysis
This will be just the third time Owings will head to the bench this season, as Nick Ahmed takes over at shortstop in his stead. The 25-year-old is enjoying a nice start to the season, going 16-for-52 (.308) with six RBI and four stolen bases through 14 games.

Owings went 2-for-4 in his return to the lineup Sunday against Los Angeles.
EDGE Analysis
Owings took a seat Saturday but was right back to business Sunday. He's now sporting a .356/.383/.489 slash line with four runs, a home run, six RBI and four stolen bases. His cross-category profile and multi-position eligibility makes Owings a nice depth piece for your roster in deep settings.

Owings is not in the lineup Saturday against the Dodgers.
EDGE Analysis
After starting 10 of the Diamondbacks' first 11 games, Owings will take a breather as Nick Ahmed gets the nod at shortstop. Owings is off to a nice start to the season, going 14-for-41 (.341) with one homer, six RBI and four stolen bases. He should find himself back in the lineup for Sunday's matchup.

Owings went 3-for-4 with a solo home run and two runs scored in Sunday's 3-2 win over the Indians.
EDGE Analysis
Owings is off to a strong start, hitting .360 and recording just one hitless performance in his first first six games. His overall body of work in the majors isn't impressive, but he has showed signs that he could put it all together in 2017. Owings must show a better eye at the plate in order to do so, but his speed and multi-position eligibility is attractive to fantasy owners in deeper leagues.
