Wednesday's Dodgers-Nationals game has been cancelled.
Major League Baseball pushed the Dodgers and Nats to try to fit the contest in, refusing to make an initial club-approved postponement official, but the rain hasn't stopped in the nation's capital and the forecast does not look promising. The two teams will play a doubleheader Thursday, beginning at 1:05 p.m. ET.

Wednesday night's game between the Dodgers and Nationals is indeed back on.
Both teams announced Wednesday morning that the game had been postponed due to a pocket of storms still traveling through the nation's capital, but Major League Baseball intervened and asked the Dodgers and Nats to do their best to fit the contest in. Chien-Ming Wang will take the mound for D.C. and Dana Eveland will make the start for Los Angeles. It should be rainy affair.

Wednesday's game between the Dodgers and Nationals was postponed due to rain.
The forecast in the D.C. area isn't promising, but they'll attempt to make it up as part of a doubleheader Thursday, beginning at 1:05 p.m. ET. Wednesday's starters Chien-Ming Wang and Dana Eveland will presumably be pushed back a day.

Chien-Ming Wang labored through 5 2/3 innings Thursday, allowing four runs on seven hits and three walks in a loss to the Braves.
He didn't strike anyone out and served up solo shots to Brian McCann and Chipper Jones. Wang now holds a hideous 9/12 K/BB ratio over his 38 2/3 innings in his seven starts, but he's still a groundball machine, which has helped him keep his ERA down to a digestible 4.19 mark. He'll face off against the Dodgers next.

Chien-Ming Wang tossed six shutout innings and allowed just one hit in a win Tuesday against the Cubs.
He walked two and struck out one. Wang was pretty terrible his first two times out coming off the disabled list, allowing 12 runs, though just half of them were earned. Tuesday's start will buy him more time in the rotation, but we wouldn't count on him in fantasy. He's 1-2 with a 3.60 ERA over three starts.

Chien-Ming Wang allowed six runs -- two earned -- in five innings Wednesday in a loss to the Braves.
The unearned runs were his own fault, as he committed a throwing error on Brandon Beachy's comebacker to start the four-run fifth inning. Wang has allowed 12 runs -- six earned -- over nine innings in his two starts for the Nationals. He'll probably remain in the rotation for now, but if he doesn't improve next time out, the Nats could give up on him.

In his first major league start in over two years, Chien-Ming Wang was tagged for six runs (four earned) over four innings in a loss to the Mets on Friday night.
He was pulled after throwing 61 pitches. Wang settled in a bit after allowing four runs in the first inning, though the outing could have been much worse. He allowed eight hits while walking one and striking out two. The encouraging part is that he induced eight ground balls and topped out at 92.7 mph on the radar gun. It looks like he'll stay in the rotation for now, but we wouldn't count on him in fantasy leagues.

Nationals activated RHP Chien-Ming Wang from the 60-day disabled list.
Wang, who will start Friday against the Mets, will have gone 755 days in between major league starts due to ongoing shoulder issues, as his last outing came in Independence Day in 2009. The former Yankee is slated to throw 80-90 pitches in his first outing. He posted 1.90 ERA over 23.2 innings across multiple minor league levels during his rehab assignment and is worth a flier in NL-only formats.

Nationals manager Davey Johnson said that Chien-Ming Wang (shoulder) will throw approximately 80-90 pitches in his start Friday against the Mets.
This will be Wang's first major league start since undergoing shoulder surgery in July of 2009. Tom Gorzelanny will be available out of the bullpen in case he is chased from the game early.

Adam Kilgore of the Washington Post is reporting that Chien-Ming Wang (shoulder) will start Friday against the Mets.
The Nationals will be showcasing their veteran right hander for contenders. Wang has pitched well since making his first rehab start a little less than a month ago, posting a 1.90 ERA over 23.2 innings across multiple minor league levels. He has not pitched in the majors since the middle of the 2009 season.
