In his first major league start in over two years, Chien-Ming Wang was tagged for six runs (four earned) over four innings in a loss to the Mets on Friday night. He was pulled after throwing 61 pitches. Wang settled in a bit after allowing four runs in the first inning, though the outing could have been much worse. He allowed eight hits while walking one and striking out two. The encouraging part is that he induced eight ground balls and topped out at 92.7 mph on the radar gun. It looks like he'll stay in the rotation for now, but we wouldn't count on him in fantasy leagues.
