Lane Adams will come up to replace him in Atlanta, which will likely keep d'Arnaud in an organizational depth role unless injuries strike the big-league club.

d'Arnaud is 2-for-6 with one walk and two strikeouts during the early stages of the 2017 season.

When he stays in the game, he has played in left field, usually replacing Jace Peterson.
