Anderson (3-2) took the loss Friday as the Brewers fell 11-7 to the Reds, coughing up six runs on five hits and two walks over five innings while striking out six.
EDGE Analysis
It was by far the right-hander's worst outing of the year, but it continued a stretch of poor performances. Over his last six starts, Anderson has stumbled to a 6.43 ERA, 1.46 WHIP and 1.9 HR/9 despite a solid 30:8 K:BB over 28 innings during that stretch. He'll try to turn things around Thursday in a home start against the Mariners.

Anderson allowed four runs on five hits and four walks across four innings in a no-decision Sunday against the Giants. He struck out three.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson was plagued by inefficiency in this outing and ran up his pitch count in the second inning when he allowed two runs on three hits and a walk. He came back out for the fifth but allowed the first three batters to reach base and was fortunate to be charged with only one additional run as the bullpen put out the fire. Anderson turned in a quality start in his previous outing, but overall he's failed to go deeper than five innings in four of his last five. He'll look to get back on track in his next start at home against the Reds.

Anderson allowed two runs on four hits and a walk while striking out six over six innings Sunday in a no-decision against the Pirates.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson made a key mistake in the second inning, surrendering a two-run home run to center, but he turned in a quality outing and Milwaukee would eventually emerge with the victory. The 31-year-old was hit hard in his last outing against Miami, but he managed to bounce back in the series finale. Anderson has posted a 3.80 ERA and 1.31 WHIP with a 46:15 K:BB over 42.2 innings.

Anderson (3-1) allowed four earned runs on seven hits and no walks while striking out six across four innings to take the loss Tuesday against the Marlins.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson was defeated by the long ball Tuesday, surrendering three homers in his short start. He's now failed to surpass five innings in any of his six starts this season, though this was his first outing in which he's surrendered multiple home runs. The depleted Brewers' rotation should make his starting job safe for the time being, though he'll look to work deeper in his next start, currently scheduled for Sunday against Pittsburgh.

Anderson (3-0) allowed two runs on six hits and one walk across five innings to earn the win Thursday against the Pirates. He struck out five.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson scattered baserunners throughout the game but was only scored upon via a second-inning rally and a solo home run in the fourth. He worked up to 94 pitches, his most since returning from injury, but some inefficiency afforded him only five innings. This was also Anderson's first win since returning to the rotation, and he'll look to improve upon his 3-0 record in his next outing against the Marlins.

Anderson didn't factor into the decision in Friday's 6-4 loss to the Phillies, giving up three runs on six hits and four innings while striking out four.
EDGE Analysis
The right-hander wasn't overly efficient, needing 83 pitches (54 strikes) to record 12 outs, but the Brewers were ahead 4-3 when Anderson hit the showers. He hasn't completed five innings in any of his last three starts, and with Jimmy Nelson (shoulder) closing in on a return, Anderson remains the most likely pitcher to lose his spot in the Milwaukee rotation when Nelson comes off the IL despite his 3.25 ERA and 29:13 K:BB through 27.2 innings on the year.

Manager Craig Counsell said Anderson will start Friday's series opener against the Phillies, Tom Haudricourt of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
EDGE Analysis
Due to off days Monday and Thursday, the Brewers had the option of shortening their rotation this week, but Anderson will instead receive another turn as Counsell sticks with a five-man setup. While facing a limited pitch count in his return from the 10-day injured list last weekend in Atlanta, Anderson limited the Braves to one unearned run over four frames but issued four free passes. Even with a better showing versus the Phillies, Anderson won't be assured a rotation spot heading into next week with Jimmy Nelson (shoulder) potentially returning from the IL.

Anderson allowed one unearned run on two hits with three strikeouts and four walks across four innings during a no-decision against the Braves on Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
Activated off the IL prior to this start, Anderson lasted just 76 pitches and couldn't find the zone at various times. He only started half of the 18 batters he faced with a first-pitch strike, and he walked a batter in every frame but his last. While he didn't give up an earned run, Anderson's failure to work more efficiently cost himself a better chance at the win (although the Brewers bullpen blew the lead anyway). In nine appearances, including three starts, Anderson is 2-0 with a 2.66 ERA, 1.31 WHIP and 25 strikeouts in 23.2 innings. He is scheduled to pitch again against the Phillies next Saturday.

Anderson (finger) was activated as expected Saturday ahead of his scheduled start against the Braves.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson's return pushes Freddy Peralta to the bullpen. Anderson began the year there himself, and there's no guarantee he won't be back in the pen at some point, but he's earned his role in the rotation for now due to his 3.20 ERA in 19.2 innings. Jacob Barnes was sent down in a corresponding move.

Anderson (finger) will be activated from the injured list to start Saturday's game against the Braves, Mark Feinsand of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson got through a rehab start with no issues earlier in the week, clearing the way for him to rejoin the rotation over the weekend. HIs return will push Freddy Peralta to the bullpen. Prior to landing on the shelf with a blister, Anderson compiled a 3.20 ERA, 1.27 WHIP and 22:9 K:BB in 19.2 innings (seven appearances, two starts).
