Blackmon is not in the lineup Wednesday against the Angels, Patrick Saunders of the Denver Post reports.
Drew Stubbs will step in to man center field as Corey Dickerson takes over atop the order against lefty Hector Santiago. Blackmon has played almost every day to this point, but his mark against lefties has now fallen to 4-for-30 (.133 average) and it seems likely he will be heavily shielded from southpaws moving forward.

Blackmon went a collective 3-for-9 with a stolen base in Wednesday's doubleheader losses to the Diamondbacks.
Blackmon is just 3-for-5 on stolen-base attempts this season, but he's still roughly on pace for 20 steals if health should permit the rest of the way. The outfielder's prowess on the basepaths, combined with a .317 average and .921 OPS that would both register as career bests, should have him poised to eclipse the all-around fantasy value he deliver during his 2014 breakout.

Blackmon went 3-for-5 with two solo homers and three runs scored in Sunday's loss to the Padres.
Blackmon's power numbers had been down from his 2014 marks heading into the weekend series, but with three homers in the past two days -- in one of the league's most pitcher-friendly parks, no less -- the outfielder is right back on pace. His .316 batting average is probably set to decline in light of his .362 BABIP and career-worst 21.2 percent strikeout rate, though probably not enough to make him a sell-high candidate in most leagues. Blackmon looks in line for another fantasy-friendly season.

Blackmon went 2-for-4 with his third homer of the season in Saturday's loss to the Padres.
Blackmon also doubled to deep left in his first at-bat, boosting his OPS for the season to .865. The Rockies' leadoff man hasn't been as active on the basepaths (two steals in four attempts) as he was during his breakout 2014 campaign, but if he's able to maintain the uptick in power he's shown thus far, a similarly big year could still be in the offing.

Blackmon is out of the lineup Friday.
The Rockies will give Drew Stubbs the start in center field Friday, but Blackmon has been hot lately (four multi-hit games in his last five) and should be back in the lineup Saturday.

Blackmon went 3-for-5 with a double, two runs scored, and two RBI in Tuesday's 12-5 loss to the Diamondbacks.
Blackmon has now produced multi-hit showings in four consecutive games. With just two stolen bases in four attempts, Blackmon's not quite having as much success on the basepaths as he enjoyed in 2014, but his .305/.363/.488 batting line has made him an asset at the top of the order.

Blackmon extended his hitting streak to five games with a two-run triple in the fifth inning of Tuesday's loss to the Padres.
Blackmon has reached base in every game this season, so it's unsurprising he's been able to maintain an excellent .371 on-base percentage. While his first month of 2015 hasn't been nearly as monstrous compared to what he did in April a season earlier, Blackmon's .371 average, one homer, seven RBI, and eight runs have certainly been useful for fantasy owners.

Blackmon connected on a solo homer in Friday's 7-3 loss to the Dodgers.
Manager Walt Weiss initially kept Blackmon out of the lineup with lefty Clayton Kershaw on the mound, but after calling a late audible, the move ended up paying dividends. However, aside from solo shots by Blackmon and Troy Tulowitzki, Kershaw put the clamps on the Rockies' bats, limiting the team to three runs while striking out 12 over his six innings. Blackmon may still be at risk of losing out on his lineup spot when a southpaw is on the mound, but Friday's performance against the league's best left-hander in Kershaw could afford Blackmon a longer leash.

Blackmon is in the lineup for Friday's game against the Dodgers, Nick Groke of the Denver Post reports.
Not only will manager Walt Weiss leave Blackmon in the lineup against Clayton Kershaw, he will leave him atop the order against the reigning NL MVP. Blackmon does own a respectable 5-for-18 career mark against the left-hander, though only one of his hits has gone for extra bases and he has struck out six times.

Blackmon is out of the lineup Friday, the Denver Post's Nick Groke reports.
With the toughest lefty in the game (Clayton Kershaw) on the mound, the Rockies will go with Drew Stubbs in center field. Blackmon would not have been a strong play in daily leagues had he been in there, but he'll presumably be back in the mix Saturday against Zack Greinke.
