Blackmon is not in the lineup Wednesday against the Angels, Patrick Saunders of the Denver Post reports. Drew Stubbs will step in to man center field as Corey Dickerson takes over atop the order against lefty Hector Santiago. Blackmon has played almost every day to this point, but his mark against lefties has now fallen to 4-for-30 (.133 average) and it seems likely he will be heavily shielded from southpaws moving forward.
