Gonzalez is not starting Sunday against the Marlins, Patrick Saunders of The Denver Post reports.
EDGE Analysis
Gonzalez is hitting a mediocre .276/.330/.449 with seven homers in 58 games this season. Those numbers look far worse once the Coors Field effect is factored in, though of course many fantasy owners will have picked up Gonzalez precisely because of that effect. Noel Cuevas gets the start in right field Sunday.

Gonzalez is not in the lineup Thursday against the Mets, Thomas Harding of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Gonzalez has started the last five games, hitting a solid .333/.391/.571 over that stretch, but he'll head to the bench Thursday with a southpaw (Steven Matz) toeing the rubber for the opposition. Noel Cuevas will pick up a start in right field in his stead.

Gonzalez went 2-for-3 with a pair of walks in Wednesday's win over the Phillies.
EDGE Analysis
Gonzalez missed two games earlier in the week with a rib ailment, but he showed no lingering issues in tying a season high by reaching base four times Wednesday. The 32-year-old has already delivered four multi-hit efforts in eight starts in June to raise his slash line to a .261/.301/.435 mark that's mostly in line with last year's campaign.

Gonzalez (ribs) is back in the lineup Tuesday against the Phillies, Thomas Harding of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Gonzalez had missed the team's previous two games with a rib issue, which appears to have been a minor one as he's now back in the lineup. The veteran outfielder has struggled to a .268/.308/.446 line, good for an 84 wRC+ which exactly matches his figure from his disappointing 2017 campaign.

Gonzalez (back) is not in the lineup Sunday against the Diamondbacks, Thomas Harding of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
As expected, Gonzalez will be withheld from the lineup after dealing with back spasms prior to being scratched from Saturday's contest. The Rockies are off Monday, so the hope is that Gonzalez will feel well enough to return to the field Tuesday against the struggling Phillies. Noel Cuevas will start in right field in the meantime.

Gonzalez (back) is unlikely to play in Sunday's series finale against the Diamondbacks, Nick Groke of The Athletic Denver reports.
EDGE Analysis
Gonzalez was scratched from Saturday's lineup with a back issue and it appears the Rockies will give him another rest day to maximize his downtime before starting a three-game set with the Phillies on Tuesday. If Gonzalez is ultimately held out Sunday, Noel Cuevas or Gerardo Parra figure to man right field duties for the Rockies.

Gonzalez was scratched from Saturday's lineup with back spasms, Nick Groke of The Athletic Denver reports.
EDGE Analysis
Gonzalez was slated to start in right field and bat fourth for the Rockies, but will give way to Noel Cuevas because of the back spasms. The severity of the issue remains unclear and the veteran outfielder should be considered day-to-day.

Gonzalez is not in the lineup Sunday against the Dodgers, Patrick Saunders of The Denver Post reports.

Gonzalez went 2-for-5 with a run, an RBI and a stolen base in a win over the Giants on Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
Gonzalez recorded his third straight multi-hit game, bringing his average up to .256 on the year. The outfielder has a respectable total of five homers and 19 RBI this season, but has mustered only three doubles and 12 runs in 39 games. His sub-par on-base percentage (.301) is largely the result of taking only nine walks against 34 strikeouts this year, but Gonzalez is also having general trouble getting many hits to fall.
