Gonzalez has not yet been called up but is expected to be on the roster Sunday, Paul Hoynes of The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.
EDGE Analysis
Reports earlier in the day suggested that Gonzalez would join the team Saturday, but those reports were apparently premature. Gonzalez should have a shot at fairly regular at-bats once he does eventually join the team.

Gonzalez was called up by the Indians on Saturday, Jon Heyman of MLB Network reports.
EDGE Analysis
Gonzalez hasn't posted a wRC+ above 100 since 2016, but the Indians desperately need offensive help, especially at the outfield corners. Primary left fielder Jake Bauers has hit just .171/.261/.293 and could be at risk to lose his spot to the veteran.

Gonzalez won't break camp with the Indians, Paul Hoynes of The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.
EDGE Analysis
Gonzalez signed a minor-league deal with the Indians last week, and he simply won't have enough time to get up to speed before the start of the season. The veteran outfielder is scheduled to DH in a pair of minor-league games Saturday and Sunday, and if everything goes as planned, he could be ready to debut by mid-April (his contract contains an April 20 opt-out).

Gonzalez agreed to a minor-league deal with the Indians on Saturday, Jon Heyman of MLB Network reports.
EDGE Analysis
The deal includes an invitation to big-league camp and will pay Gonzalez a base of $2 million if he makes the team, plus a further $1 million in incentives. The veteran waited until late in camp to find the right deal, but if he was looking for a contender where he'd have the chance to play frequently, he likely couldn't have found a better option. Gonzalez's .276/.329/.467 line for the Rockies last season translates to a mediocre 96 wRC+ once Coors Field is factored in, but it's not as if Tyler Naquin or Greg Allen will be particularly hard to displace from an outfield corner. It remains to be seen whether Gonzalez will be ready to go from the start of the season with Opening Day just 12 days away.

Gonzalez remains without strong links to a team, David Schoenfield of ESPN reports.
EDGE Analysis
Gonzalez's numbers have always been propped up by Coors Field, though his .276/.329/.467 line for the Rockies last season was still good for a respectable 96 wRC+. For a corner outfielder, though, that's not a starting-caliber mark, so it's not all that surprising that he's had a tough time finding a new job. His fantasy value when he does eventually find a role will depend in large part on how much playing time he's able to carve out.

Gonzalez is not in the lineup for Tuesday's NL Wild Card Game against the Cubs, Jesse Rogers of ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Gonzalez will retreat to the bench for Tuesday's decisive game as the Rockies deploy mostly right-handed hitters against southpaw Jon Lester. Veteran Matt Holliday will pick up a start in the outfield in place of Gonzalez, who will be available off the bench.

Gonzalez is not in the lineup Tuesday against the Phillies, Kyle Newman of The Denver Post reports.
EDGE Analysis
Gonzalez will sit for a fourth straight game and the sixth time in seven contests. There has been no word of any injury, so it appears the Rockies are simply looking elsewhere amidst the veteran outfielder's struggles (.128/.180/.213 across 13 games in September). David Dahl and Gerardo Parra will cover the corner outfield spots in this on e

Gonzalez is not in the lineup Monday against the Phillies, Kyle Newman of The Denver Post reports.
EDGE Analysis
Gonzalez is hitting just .128/.180/.213 through 13 games in September, so he'll stick on the bench for the fifth time in the last six games. David Dahl will cover right field in his absence, with Gerardo Parra getting the nod in left.
