Carlos Gonzalez is scheduled to undergo an MRI on his right wrist Monday.
CarGo returned to the lineup Friday following a four-game absence, but the wrist was still bothering him during the game and he sat out Saturday. He originally was hurt when he jammed the wrist while crashing into the outfield wall. It's a potentially season-changing injury for the Rockies, as they can't afford to be without one of their stars for a significant period of time given that they're already 7.5 games out of first place.

Carlos Gonzalez is expected to sit out Saturday's game after feeling continued pain in his wright wrist during Friday's game.
That's not good. CarGo said his wrist began to start hurting when he had to turn on an inside fastball, and it continued to be sore throughout the game. Friday's game was his first since he originally hurt the wrist on Sunday. The Rockies, at the very least, figure to shut him down for the rest of the weekend and hope he can come back at 100 percent for the start of the second half.

Carlos Gonzalez (wrist) is back in the Rockies' starting lineup Friday night against the Nationals.
The weather in D.C. isn't exactly promising, but the plan is for him to play center field and bat leadoff. CarGo hasn't played since Sunday due to a right wrist contusion.

Carlos Gonzalez (wrist) told Jim Tracy that he plans to return to the starting lineup Friday against the Nationals.
Good news. CarGo showed up to the ballpark Thursday feeling sore from taking light batting practice Wednesday, so the Rockies held him out of the starting lineup for a fourth straight day. However, he could be available in a pinch-hit situation.

Carlos Gonzalez (wrist) is not in Thursday's lineup against the Braves.
There was some optimism that CarGo would be ready to return to the lineup after he was able to take light batting practice Wednesday, but he will miss his fourth straight game. Look for him to rejoin the Rockies' lineup Friday at Washington. Ryan Spilborghs will make the start in center field Thursday while Charlie Blackmon moves back to left.

Carlos Gonzalez (wrist) was able to take live batting practice Wednesday at about 75 percent.
CarGo has been sidelined since leaving Sunday's game after bruising his wrist while crashing into the outfield wall. He's available to pinch-hit and serve as a defensive replacement Wednesday. There's a chance he could return to the Rockies' starting lineup Thursday.

Carlos Gonzalez (wrist) is out of the Rockies' lineup for the third straight day Wednesday.
As expected. While he won't start, CarGo is expected to attempt to hit off a tee Wednesday. The Rockies haven't ruled him out for Thursday yet, but Friday's series opener against the Braves is beginning to look like a more realistic target.

Carlos Gonzalez (wrist) will play catch, run and take some light swings with a fungo bat Tuesday.
Realistically, though, CarGo isn't expected to return to the lineup until at least Thursday. "I am feeling better," explained Gonzalez. "The swelling has gone down but I know I can't put a rush on it and go out there and hurt the team." Gonzalez suffered a right wrist contusion from crashing into the outfield wall during Sunday's game.

Carlos Gonzalez (wrist) will not swing a bat Tuesday.
CarGo was out of the lineup Monday after suffering a right wrist contusion from crashing into the outfield wall during Sunday's game. He plans to wait until Wednesday before attempting to swing a bat, so we wouldn't bank on his return before Thursday. Stay tuned.
