Carrasco covered two innings Tuesday in his first start during Grapefruit League play in the Indians' 7-6 loss to the Reds. He surrendered one run on two hits and no walks and struck out four.
EDGE Analysis
Carrasco pitched an inning in relief last week against a number of Rangers reserves and non-roster players, but Tuesday marked his first slate of the spring versus MLB regulars. Though both of the hits he allowed went for extra bases, including a home run to Scooter Gennett, Carrasco was otherwise lights out, with all of his outs coming via grounders or strikeouts. Expect Carrasco to gradually increase his innings load in his subsequent Grapefruit League appearances so that he'll be fully prepared for a 100-pitch outing in his first start of the regular season. He'll likely follow ace Corey Kluber in the rotation and take the hill March 31 in Seattle.

Carrasco is scheduled to pitch Game 3 of the ALDS against either the Twins or Yankees.
EDGE Analysis
Carrasco will get the nod for Game 3 after compiling 18 wins to go along with an impressive 3.28 ERA, 1.10 WHIP and 226 strikeouts in 200 innings (32 starts) this season. He tosses 8.1 scoreless innings in his last start of the regular season, striking out 14 batters, so he should be ready to go Sunday. Trevor Bauer will start Game 1, with Corey Kluber getting the ball for Game 2.

Carrasco (18-6) pitched 8.1 scoreless innings with 14 strikeouts to take the win against Minnesota on Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
This was another dominant showing from Carrasco, and strong outings have become commonplace down the stretch for the 30-year-old righty. Additionally, it's was especially encouraging because the Twins are a potential playoff opponent. Thursday finishes off the 2017 regular season for Carrasco, and he posted a career-best fantasy campaign with 18 wins, a 3.29 ERA, 1.10 WHIP and 10.2 K/9.

Carrasco (17-6) allowed one run on six hits and two walks while striking out six over 5.2 innings to earn the victory Saturday against the Mariners.
EDGE Analysis
Carrasco held the Mariners scoreless through five innings before giving up his lone run in the sixth frame, but the Indians had already provided him enough offensive support to help him earn his 17th victory the campaign. He's held opponents to one or fewer earned runs in five of his last six starts to lower his ERA from 3.95 to 3.43, and he's been at his absolute best during the fantasy playoffs. He'll make his next start Friday against the White Sox.

Carrasco (16-6) picked up the win against the Royals after pitching 6.2 innings, and allowing four runs on eight and two walks while striking out five Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
While tying for the AL lead in wins, Carrasco also surpassed Bartolo Colon for 13th on the Indians' all-time strikeout list with 871. Despite notching his lowest strikeout total since Aug. 1, the right-hander picked up his fourth straight win to extend his career-high total. His 186 innings pitched, 206 strikeouts and 1.10 WHIP also rank in the AL's top five with just a couple weeks remaining this season. Carrasco will look to keep things rolling when he takes the hill Friday in Seattle.

Carrasco (15-6) struck out nine in six scoreless innings while earning the win Monday against the Tigers, allowing seven hits and one walk along the way.
EDGE Analysis
Carrasco was terrific in this one, throwing first-pitch strikes to 20 of 26 hitters and inducing 21 swinging strikes. He worked up to 92 pitches and likely could have continued, but a sizable lead allowed the club to remove him after the sixth. Carrasco has been outstanding over his last four starts, allowing just two earned runs with a stellar 34:1 K:BB over 29 innings. He will look to continue his recent dominance Saturday against the Royals.

Carrasco (14-6) picked up the win over the White Sox on Wednesday, allowing one run on three hits while striking out nine in a complete game.
EDGE Analysis
Adam Engel's solo shot in the bottom of the ninth inning spoiled what would have been Carrasco's fourth career shutout. The right-hander now has a 3.32 ERA, 1.04 WHIP and 68:11 K:BB in his last 10 starts (62.1 innings), and he should be in line for another strong fantasy outing Tuesday at home against the rebuilding Tigers.

Carrasco held the Tigers to one run on six hits over seven innings while striking out eight Friday but didn't factor into the decision in a 3-2 win.
EDGE Analysis
He was in line for his 14th win of the year, which would have tied his career high, but Cody Allen's fourth blown save spoiled the party. Carrasco now has a stellar 2.14 ERA, 0.92 WHIP and 41:4 K:BB in 33.2 innings across his last five starts, making him a premium DFS option in his next outing Wednesday on the road against the hapless White Sox.

Carrasco (13-6) threw seven shutout innings and struck out eight batters in Sunday's victory over the Royals.
EDGE Analysis
Carrasco's control was on full display, as he didn't walk a single batter and gave up just six hits over the course of the contest. It was a much-needed recovery for Carrasco, who'd given up six runs over 6.2 innings in his previous outing, which came against the Red Sox. Carrasco's next start figures to come in Saturday's doubleheader versus the Tigers. The righty has had a string of successful starts when facing the Detroit club this season. After four games against the Tigers, Carrasco is 3-1 with a 2.36 ERA.

Carrasco (12-6) took the loss Tuesday after surrendering six runs on eight hits against the Red Sox. He struck out six, walked one and hit a batter.
EDGE Analysis
While he wasn't exactly having a spectacular start, Carrasco was at least looking respectable until the seventh inning, when he let the Red Sox rally for three runs before being pulled. It didn't matter much, though, as Doug Fister threw a one-hitter on the other end. Carrasco was crushed by the Red Sox in far uglier fashion three weeks ago on the first day of August, and he's now given up five or more earned runs four times in his last 11 starts. Sure, he's given up just eight runs over the course of the other seven starts in that stretch, but that Jekyll-and-Hyde act is doing his fantasy owners no favors -- nor is it helping his ERA, which is now up to 3.95, easily a four-year high.
