Carrasco (16-6) picked up the win against the Royals after pitching 6.2 innings, and allowing four runs on eight and two walks while striking out five Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
While tying for the AL lead in wins, Carrasco also surpassed Bartolo Colon for 13th on the Indians' all-time strikeout list with 871. Despite notching his lowest strikeout total since Aug. 1, the right-hander picked up his fourth straight win to extend his career-high total. His 186 innings pitched, 206 strikeouts and 1.10 WHIP also rank in the AL's top five with just a couple weeks remaining this season. Carrasco will look to keep things rolling when he takes the hill Friday in Seattle.

Carrasco (15-6) struck out nine in six scoreless innings while earning the win Monday against the Tigers, allowing seven hits and one walk along the way.
EDGE Analysis
Carrasco was terrific in this one, throwing first-pitch strikes to 20 of 26 hitters and inducing 21 swinging strikes. He worked up to 92 pitches and likely could have continued, but a sizable lead allowed the club to remove him after the sixth. Carrasco has been outstanding over his last four starts, allowing just two earned runs with a stellar 34:1 K:BB over 29 innings. He will look to continue his recent dominance Saturday against the Royals.

Carrasco (14-6) picked up the win over the White Sox on Wednesday, allowing one run on three hits while striking out nine in a complete game.
EDGE Analysis
Adam Engel's solo shot in the bottom of the ninth inning spoiled what would have been Carrasco's fourth career shutout. The right-hander now has a 3.32 ERA, 1.04 WHIP and 68:11 K:BB in his last 10 starts (62.1 innings), and he should be in line for another strong fantasy outing Tuesday at home against the rebuilding Tigers.

Carrasco held the Tigers to one run on six hits over seven innings while striking out eight Friday but didn't factor into the decision in a 3-2 win.
EDGE Analysis
He was in line for his 14th win of the year, which would have tied his career high, but Cody Allen's fourth blown save spoiled the party. Carrasco now has a stellar 2.14 ERA, 0.92 WHIP and 41:4 K:BB in 33.2 innings across his last five starts, making him a premium DFS option in his next outing Wednesday on the road against the hapless White Sox.

Carrasco (13-6) threw seven shutout innings and struck out eight batters in Sunday's victory over the Royals.
EDGE Analysis
Carrasco's control was on full display, as he didn't walk a single batter and gave up just six hits over the course of the contest. It was a much-needed recovery for Carrasco, who'd given up six runs over 6.2 innings in his previous outing, which came against the Red Sox. Carrasco's next start figures to come in Saturday's doubleheader versus the Tigers. The righty has had a string of successful starts when facing the Detroit club this season. After four games against the Tigers, Carrasco is 3-1 with a 2.36 ERA.

Carrasco (12-6) took the loss Tuesday after surrendering six runs on eight hits against the Red Sox. He struck out six, walked one and hit a batter.
EDGE Analysis
While he wasn't exactly having a spectacular start, Carrasco was at least looking respectable until the seventh inning, when he let the Red Sox rally for three runs before being pulled. It didn't matter much, though, as Doug Fister threw a one-hitter on the other end. Carrasco was crushed by the Red Sox in far uglier fashion three weeks ago on the first day of August, and he's now given up five or more earned runs four times in his last 11 starts. Sure, he's given up just eight runs over the course of the other seven starts in that stretch, but that Jekyll-and-Hyde act is doing his fantasy owners no favors -- nor is it helping his ERA, which is now up to 3.95, easily a four-year high.

Carrasco (12-5) allowed a single run on five hits and a walk while striking out nine batters through five innings during Thursday's win over the Twins.
EDGE Analysis
After struggling in consecutive outings (10 runs allowed through 7.1 innings), Carrasco bounced back in his last start with eight-shutout frames and 10 strikeouts against the Rays. It was more of the same Thursday, and don't let the short outing fool, either. Carrasco pitched his way out of a bases-loaded jam in the first inning without allowing a run, so his pitch count skyrocketed in a hurry. While the ups and downs are discouraging, it's difficult to fade Carrasco in any fantasy setting considering his upside in any given start. He takes a 3.76 ERA, 1.13 WHIP and 10.1 K/9 into his next start against the Red Sox at Progressive Field.

Carrasco's scheduled start for Wednesday against the Twins has been postponed by rain.
EDGE Analysis
Carrasco was looking to build off an impressive last outing, when he struck out 10 hitters over eight scoreless innings against the Rays, but he'll get an extra day to rest instead. The Indians will simply slot him into the first game of Thursday's doubleheader, lining him up against Kyle Gibson.

Carrasco (11-5) fired eight scoreless innings Friday to earn the win over the Rays, allowing two hits and two walks while striking out 10.
EDGE Analysis
He took a no-hitter into the seventh inning, but Logan Morrison spoiled the bid for history with a two-out single. Carrasco had been struggling to begin August, coughing up 10 runs in 7.1 innings over his first two starts of the month, but he appeared to be in peak form Friday. He'll take a 3.83 ERA into his next start Wednesday on the road against the Twins.

Carrasco (10-5) allowed five runs on six hits and two walks while striking out six over 5.2 innings during Sunday's loss to the Yankees.
EDGE Analysis
Carrasco did well in limiting the Yankees to just three hits and no runs over the first five innings of Sunday's contest, but things fell apart for the 30-year-old in the sixth frame. Carrasco found himself in a bases loaded jam with just one out before Chase Headley put the away team on the board with a sacrifice fly. After a walk to Todd Frazier, Jacoby Ellsbury blew the game open with a bases-clearing triple to drive Carrasco from the game. The veteran pitcher has now allowed 10 earned runs over his previous two starts (7.1 innings) and will look to improve upon his 4.06 ERA in his upcoming scheduled start against the Rays on Friday.
