Quantrill allowed two runs on three hits and three walks in six innings of a no-decision Wednesday against Oakland. He had five strikeouts.
EDGE Analysis
Quantrill turned a 2-0 lead over to the Cleveland bullpen in the seventh inning, but Oakland rallied with a pair of runs to tie the game and hand Quantrill his fourth no-decision in his last five starts. Still, it was another effective outing for the 26-year-old, who has held his opponents to three runs or fewer in eight consecutive starts dating back to the beginning of July. Quantrill is 3-2 in 32 appearances (14 starts) overall this season, producing a 3.13 ERA in 97.2 innings of work. Twenty-one of his 76 strikeouts have come over his last three outings.

Quantrill (3-2) picked up the win in Friday's 6-1 victory over the Tigers, scattering four hits over seven scoreless innings. He struck out a career-high 10 without walking a batter.
EDGE Analysis
He retired 15 straight batters at one point, and Detroit only managed to get one runner into scoring position against Quantrill. While the quality of the opposition has to be taken into consideration with Friday's outstanding performance, there's no denying Quantrill has turned a corner. The right-hander has reeled off four straight quality starts, and since the beginning of July he sports a 1.96 ERA, 1.04 WHIP and 32:13 K:BB through 41.1 innings.

Quantrill allowed one unearned run on three hits and four walks over six innings in Sunday's loss to the White Sox. He struck out six and did not factor in the decision.
EDGE Analysis
Quantrill worked through four scoreless innings before plunking Jose Abreu with the bases loaded in the fifth. It was his fourth consecutive start going at least five innings while allowing fewer than two runs, lowering his season ERA to 3.40 through 84.2 frames. Quantrill is projected to face Detroit at home next week.

Quantrill allowed a run on four hits and a walk while striking out five in six innings in a no-decision versus St. Louis.
EDGE Analysis
For the third straight start, Quantrill was able to limit the opposition to one run. The right-hander has settled into a nice groove since the All-Star break as he's been needed to address an injury-riddled Cleveland rotation. For the year, he owns a 3.66 ERA, 1.31 WHIP and 55:26 K:BB through 78.2 innings. He'll take a 2-2 record into his next start, tentatively set for this weekend versus the White Sox.

Quantrill allowed a run on four hits and three walks while striking out two in six innings in a no-decision versus Tampa Bay on Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
This matched Quantrill's longest appearance of the season, and it was also one of his most effective. Unfortunately for the right-hander, James Karinchak's recent struggles continued and denied the starter a win. Through 72.2 innings this year, Quantrill has a 3.84 ERA, 1.35 WHIP and 50:25 K:BB. He lines up for his next start versus St. Louis next week.

Quantrill (2-2) allowed a run on four hits and two walks with five strikeouts in five innings, earning the win Saturday over Oakland.
EDGE Analysis
While it wasn't exactly a gem, Quantrill did enough to put Cleveland in position to win. The right-hander has won consecutive starts, but he's still allowed 17 runs in 24 innings across his last five outings. For the year, Quantrill has a 4.05 ERA, 1.37 WHIP and 48:22 K:BB across 66.2 innings. He projects to make his next start versus Tampa Bay next week.

Quantrill (1-2) earned the win Saturday against the Royals after allowing three hits on five hits and a walk across six innings, striking out one.
EDGE Analysis
Aside from earning his first win of the season, Quantrill also picked up his first quality start for the first time in 2021. His strikeout numbers are still far from acceptable, with a 4.1 K/9 over his last five appearances while posting a 6.00 ERA across that same stretch, but he found a way to get the job done here. That said, he's still far from being a reliable asset in most fantasy formats since he struggles to pitch deep into games and doesn't strike out a ton of guys.

Quantrill allowed three runs on six hits and two walks with three strikeouts in 5.1 innings in a no-decision versus Houston on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
Sunday's outing was the right-hander's longest since he rejoined Cleveland's rotation June 15. Quantrill has still allowed 13 runs in his last 13 innings, but he's likely to continue as a starter while Cleveland's top three pitchers work their way back from injuries. Through 55.2 innings this year, Quantrill has a 4.20 ERA, 1.42 WHIP and 42:19 K:BB. He lines up for his next start versus Kansas City.

Quantrill lasted only 3.1 innings during Game 1 of Wednesday's doubleheader against Detroit, allowing four runs on eight hits and two walks while striking out three.
EDGE Analysis
The right-hander struggled immensely against Detroit's bottom-ten offense, yielding a season-worst eight hits, including three doubles. He allowed a pair of runs in the second inning and another before exiting in the fourth, with the final run on his ledger crossing the plate after his departure. Quantrill has been hit hard over his past two starts, yielding a combined 10 runs and 14 hits across 7.2 frames. He'll try to turn things around in his next start, which is tentatively scheduled to come at Tampa Bay early next week.

Quantrill allowed six runs on six hits and a walk with two strikeouts in 4.1 innings in a no-decision versus Minnesota on Friday.
EDGE Analysis
Cleveland spotted Quantrill a three-run lead in the first inning, but he couldn't stop Minnesota's comeback. The right-hander allowed a two-run home run to Alex Kirilloff in the third inning. Quantrill worked into trouble again in the fifth, and reliever Nick Sandlin allowed an inherited runner to score. Through 47 innings this year, Quantrill has a 3.64 ERA, 1.30 WHIP and 36:15 K:BB. He'll likely continue to hold a spot in the rotation as Cleveland's top three starters are all injured. The 26-year-old lines up to face Detroit next week.
