Dozier (hamstring) is out of the lineup Saturday against Chicago, Audra Martin of FS North reports.
EDGE Analysis
Dozier continues to be listed as day-to-day while battling some soreness in his hamstring. The Twins don't believe it's anything serious, but Dozier will get another day off as the recently recalled Jorge Polanco takes over at second base Saturday.

Dozier is out of the lineup Friday with right hamstring soreness, Mike Berardino of the St. Paul Pioneer Press reports.
EDGE Analysis
Fortunately, it sounds like just a short-term concern, as Dozier said he expects to be back in the lineup for Saturday's game. If plans change and Dozier requires additional rest, look for Eduardo Nunez to fill in again at second base.

Dozier is not in the lineup for Friday's game against the White Sox, Phil Miller of the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports.
EDGE Analysis
It's a little surprising to see Dozier left out after he homered Wednesday and following a team off day Thursday, but the Twins have not given any indication that there is an injury in play. Dozier has sat just one other time to this point and he's been a little slow to get going this season, so it seems manager Paul Molitor just decided Dozier could use a bit of an extended rest. Eduardo Nunez will man second base in his absence.

Dozier went 1-for-3 with a three-run homer Wednesday -- the highlight of the day for the Twins in a 16-4 shellacking at the hands of the Astros.
EDGE Analysis
An early slump had Dozier's batting average dipping into the .100s, but he recovered in a big way during this three-game set against Houston, going 6-for-11. His stats have been pretty remarkably consistent over the last three seasons, so it seems likely that we'll see Dozier belt some more balls out of the yard soon as he continues his course correction.

Dozier is out of the lineup for Friday's game against the Angels.
EDGE Analysis
In a bit of a surprise move, manager Paul Molitor will plug Eduardo Nunez in at second base Friday and bat him atop the order. Dozier has served as the Twins' leadoff man every game this season, but it's been a slow start for the 29-year-old. He's slashing .152/.263/.273 with nine strikeouts in 33 at-bats on the year. Hopefully getting the day off Friday will allow Dozier to refocus and get back in the lineup for Saturday's matchup.

Dozier went 1-for-5 with a solo homer Sunday against the Royals.
EDGE Analysis
His first blast of the season gave the Twins a two-run lead in the seventh inning of the game the twins would go on to lose. After starting the season without a hit in his first 11 at-bats, he now has hits in each of his last three contests.

Dozier went 2-for-3 with a double and two walks in Friday's 4-3 loss to the Royals.
EDGE Analysis
After only getting on base once over his first 11 at-bats of the new season, Dozier practically lived on the basepaths Friday. The pair of hits were the first of the season for the 28-year-old, who also has struck out at least once in each game so far in the new campaign. Dozier will once again be counted on to be an offensive force at the top of the Twins lineup in 2016.

Dozier went 2-for-3 with his second home run of the spring in Wednesday's exhibition win over Boston. He's hitting .435 (10-for-23) in eight games this spring.
EDGE Analysis
Dozier is already in midseason form this spring. Getting off to a strong start to the season hasn't been a problem for Dozier, it's finishing the year strong that's been the issue. He's faded in the second half the last two seasons, with just nine home runs and a .280 on-base percentage in the second half last year. The Twins may try to give him a few more days off early in the season as a result.
