Anderson has been operating as the Marlins' primary third baseman over the past couple of weeks, but he'll be stationed on the bench for the second consecutive day as the Marlins close out their home-away-from-home series against the Brewers. Derek Dietrich will take over at third base and bat sixth in his stead.

He stole the show in front of Miami fans at the All-Star Futures Game last Sunday, going 2-for-4 with a double during Team USA's win. The 24-year-old will make his first trip to Triple-A, and could be a viable candidate to join the big-league team at some point next season if he continues to improve.

Anderson went 2-for-4 with a double and a run scored in a 7-6 win for Team USA in Sunday's All-Star Futures Game.
