Anderson went 2-for-4 with a double and a run scored in Tuesday's loss to the Cubs.
EDGE Analysis
It was Anderson's second extra-base hit in as many games, and he's now hitting .345 (10-for-29) over his last eight games. With the latest hot stretch, the 24-year-old is slashing .268/.367/.378 to go along with 18 RBI.

Anderson went 3-for-4 with a double, a home run, two runs scored and four RBI in Monday's win over the Phillies.
EDGE Analysis
The homer was his second of the season. The 24-year-old's now gone 5-for-16 since getting bumped out of the starting spot at third base by the return of Martin Prado, but manager Don Mattingly continues to give Anderson regular playing time in right field. He doesn't have a lot of home run upside, but his 16 RBI in 28 games leads the Marlins.

Anderson is batting fourth and playing right field Friday against the Rockies, Andre Fernandez of the Miami Herald reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Marlins alluded to a potential position switch for Anderson once Martin Prado returned, and with the veteran officially back in action Friday, Anderson will get his first start in right field. It's unclear if he'll play consistently, though his current six-game hit streak certainly helps his case to play regularly.

Anderson could see time in right field and at first base once Martin Prado (knee) comes off the disabled list, Doug Padilla of MLB.com reports. "We'll mix [Anderson] in with some outfield and maybe some first [base], and find ways to get both in the lineup," Marlins manager Don Mattingly said Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
Mattingly seems to prefer using Prado at third base, suggesting he'd get at least one day off a week as the regular starter at the hot corner, which could make it tough for Anderson to see regular playing time as the Marlins already have a player in Derek Dietrich who can fill the third base/first base/corner outfield utility role. It remains to be seen exactly how Mattingly's lineups will shake out once Prado is back, but Anderson being stuck as a platoon partner for Dietrich and Justin Bour isn't out of the question, which would put a significant damper on his fantasy value.

Anderson went 1-for-3 with a walk, an RBI and a stolen base in Monday's 2-1 loss to the Dodgers.
EDGE Analysis
He's now picked up five hits in his last four games to break out of a mid-April slump, leaving Anderson with a .256/.389/.359 slash line on the season. The 24-year-old was hitting in the cleanup spot Monday as manager Don Mattingly continues to tinker with his lineup, but that show of confidence from his skipper is a good sign for Anderson given that Martin Prado (knee) is getting very close to coming off the disabled list.

Anderson went 0-for-4 with a strikeout in Thursday's loss to the Brewers.
EDGE Analysis
The young third baseman is now 2-for-24 over the last week, dropping his slash line on the season to a weak .231/.367/.338. Anderson's 11:11 BB:K through 18 games remains strong, and his .264 BABIP is likely due for at least a mild rebound, but with Martin Prado (knee) having begun a rehab assignment Thursday and getting close to a return to action, the timing on Anderson's slump could not have been worse. The rebuilding Marlins will likely stick with the 24-year-old at the hot corner even after Prado's activation from the disabled list, but if Anderson's struggles continue through next week, a demotion to Triple-A to try and regain some confidence at the plate -- and open up a roster spot for Prado -- isn't out of the question.

Anderson went 2-for-3 with a walk in Tuesday's 8-6 loss to the Mets.
EDGE Analysis
The 24-year-old continues to bang out base hits, and Anderson now has a robust .317/.462/.488 slash line through 11 games with one home run, eight runs and nine RBI. He's also shown a dramatically better approach at the plate, posting a 17.3 percent walk rate and 11.5 percent strikeout rate so far after managing 10.5 percent and 29.5 percent marks in 25 games during his big-league debut in 2017. The sample size is of course very small, but if he can maintain even a portion of those improvements, he could prove to be a surprisingly useful fantasy asset.

Anderson went 1-for-3 with a double, two RBI and one run scored Sunday against the Phillies.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson continued his impressive start to the campaign, recording his third multi-RBI game of the season Sunday. Despite the small sample, it is worth noting he has done the majority of his damage against left-handed pitching, posting a .643 slugging percentage against them to this point as opposed to just a .278 against right-handed pitching. That continued Sunday, as he doubled against left-hander Adam Morgan. To begin the season, Anderson has 14 at-bats against left-handed pitching and only 18 against right-handers, so if his splits continue his numbers will fall as he faces more right-handed pitching.

Anderson went 1-for-3 with a walk and a solo home run in Monday's 7-3 loss to the Red Sox.
EDGE Analysis
Although the homer was his first of the season, Anderson's collected at least one hit in all five Marlins games so far, going 7-for-21 with six RBI. The young third baseman is quickly dispelling any notion of Martin Prado (knee) challenging him for the starting job at the hot corner when the veteran comes off the disabled list.

Anderson went 1-for-3 with a walk, a double and three RBI in Sunday's 6-0 win over the Cubs.
EDGE Analysis
The young third baseman hit cleanup for the Marlins with Justin Bour getting the day off, and he's earned the assignment -- Anderson has gone 6-for-18 with five RBI in the first four games of 2018. The double was his first extra-base hit, though, and despite his hot start, he'll need to show more power to get on the radar in shallower fantasy formats.
