Anderson was called up by the Marlins on Friday, and will be starting at third base against the Phillies, Joe Frisaro of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson will make his major-league debut at third base, just a month and a half since earning a promotion to Triple-A Jacksonville. During his time with the Triple-A club, Anderson slashed .339/.416/.602 with eight home runs and 26 RBI. The 24-year-old is one of the top prospects in the Marlins system, and looks to get a decent amount of opportunities on the field over the next month with Miami.
