The Marlins are expected to call up left-hander Brad Hand to start Saturday against the Rangers. Elih Villanueva was another option, but he's slated to start Friday night for Triple-A New Orleans. Hand, 21, posted a 3.45 ERA and 10/9 K/BB ratio over three starts with the big club last month, but he's not a recommended fantasy option, especially against the Rangers.

Marlins optioned LHP Brad Hand to Single-A Jupiter. Hand posted a decent 3.45 ERA and 1.15 WHIP in three starts with the Marlins and should see more opportunities soon. The Fish simply wanted to add another reliever for their upcoming series with Anaheim.
