Miller has been on the disabled list since late May with right knee inflammation and appears on track for a return shortly after the All-Star break. The veteran left-hander will likely require additional rehab outings, which could come with Columbus or Double-A Akron.

Miller (knee) will throw a live bullpen session Saturday at Double-A Akron, Jordan Bastian of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Miller is ready to take the next step in his rehab after tossing multiple throwing sessions on a mound. It's unclear as to when he could begin a minor-league assignment, but it's positive news that he's finally ready to face live batters.

Miller (knee) managed to toss another bullpen session Wednesday, Jordan Bastian of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Miller has completed numerous throwing sessions on a mound, but he's yet to take the next step, which would be throwing a simulated game. The Indians had Miller throw at Progressive Field to gather Trackman/Statcast data, so if everything looks normal, there's a good chance he'll toss a simulated game sometime over the weekend before embarking on a rehab stint.

Miller (knee) threw 29 pitches in a bullpen session Monday and could face minor-league hitters in a simulated game Saturday, Jordan Bastian of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
He will throw off a game mound at Progressive Field on Wednesday so that the Indians can gather Trackman/Statcast data, and if everything checks out, it sounds like he will progress to a sim game this weekend. Miller has a chance to come off the disabled list shortly after the All-Star break.

Miller (knee) completed a 20-pitch bullpen session Saturday and is expected to throw off a mound again Monday, Jordan Bastian of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Miller resumed mound work a little less than a week ago and seemingly hasn't incurred any setbacks thus far with his inflamed right knee, which has kept him on the 10-day disabled list since late May. If Monday's session goes as planned, Miller could face hitters later in the week and then head out on a minor-league rehab assignment. He tentatively lines up for a return from the DL shortly after the All-Star break.

Miller (knee) completed a 20-pitch bullpen session Monday, Jordan Wolf of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Indians had been planning to limit Miller to flat-ground throwing until the team returned to Cleveland over the weekend, but the lefty apparently convinced team trainers to let him test out the health of his right knee on the mound. With the bullpen session going without a hitch, Miller is expected to throw again Tuesday or Wednesday. Since he has been sidelined for more than a month with the knee injury, Miller will require a minor-league rehab assignment before returning from the disabled list. That likely means he won't be available out of the Cleveland bullpen after the All-Star break.

Miller (knee) is not currently throwing off a mound, Paul Hoynes of the Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.
EDGE Analysis
Miller rejoined the team last weekend after tending to a personal matter for a few days. The team decided then to limit Miller to playing catch from roughly 10 days in hopes of getting the knee as strong as possible. He has already been on the DL twice this season, so it makes sense that the Indians would want to play this safe with the big picture in mind.

Miller (knee) will need to complete a minor-league rehab assignment before rejoining the Indians, Paul Hoynes of the Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.
EDGE Analysis
Team president Chris Antonetti did not provide much when asked about Miller's status Wednesday, just saying that the lefty continues to make progress and will need a rehab assignment. There was no hint as to when Miller may head out to an affiliate. Miller threw a series of bullpen sessions earlier in the month but his recovery seems to be in a bit of a holding pattern.

Miller (knee) took part in another bullpen session Wednesday, Paul Hoynes of Cleveland.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
This marks the third bullpen session for Miller in the past six days and it's expected that he will either embark on a brief rehab assignment or return from the 10-day DL in the coming days. Manager Terry Francona will likely shed some light on the Indians' plan of attack prior to their nine-game homestand starting Friday. Either way, Miller should be back in action soon.
