3B BOS
Bregman went 1-for-4 with a solo shot on Thursday against Baltimore.
EDGE Analysis
This was Bregman's second home run in his last three games after failing to hit one out in his first 19 contests. The 22-year-old started his major league career at a turtle's pace, but he was known for his power in the minors, so don't be surprised if the home runs keep coming.

Bregman went 2-for-5 with a two-run homer, his first, in Tuesday's loss to the Cardinals.
EDGE Analysis
Bregman got off to a very slow start in the majors, but was starting show off his power stroke over the past nine games. In that span, he mashed five doubles, and he finally found his way onto the home run board in the first inning Tuesday night against Jaime Garcia. In 80 minor league games between Double-A and Triple-A this year, Bregman mashed 20 homers, so expect much more like this from him as he gets settled into the big leagues.

Bregman is out of the lineup Wednesday against the Blue Jays, MLB.com's Brian McTaggart reports.
EDGE Analysis
Bregman, who wasted no time assaulting opposing pitchers upon arriving at Double-A and Triple-A, has found the feat harder to duplicate against big league pitching. He is 1-for-32 to start his career, so it's understandable that the Astros will give him a day to clear his head. Marwin Gonzalez will man third base and hit second Wednesday.

Bregman will make his fourth straight start at third base Sunday against the Tigers.
EDGE Analysis
Bregman was expected to see time at multiple positions after being recalled from Triple-A Fresno on Monday, but with Luis Valbuena (hamstring) landing on the DL on Friday, the highly-touted prospect should be in line for regular duties at third base. The 22-year-old enters Sunday's game still searching for his first big-league hit, as he's gone 0-for-17 in his five games to date.

Bregman went 0-for-4 with a pair of strikeouts in his MLB debut Monday against the Yankees.
EDGE Analysis
Yankees starter Michael Pineda, along with relievers Dellin Betances and Andrew Miller, combined to strike out 12 Astros in their 2-1 win. Bregman, who hit sixth in the lineup Monday, may soon move up to second in the batting order to bridge the gap between George Springer and Jose Altuve. That could happen as early as Tuesday when the Astros face southpaw C.C. Sabathia.

Bregman will start at third base and bat sixth in his MLB debut Monday against the Yankees, Jake Kaplan of the Houston Chronicle reports.
EDGE Analysis
Luis Valbuena will shift over to first base while Marwin Gonzalez (ankle) takes a seat for the Astros' series opener against the Yankees. Bregman's arrival is expected to give Houston's offense a boost after he hit .306/.406/.580 with 20 home runs, 61 RBI, seven steals and a 47:38 BB:K in 80 games between Double-A Corpus Christi and Triple-A Fresno.

Bregman will be recalled prior to Monday's game against the Yankees.
EDGE Analysis
A natural shortstop, Bregman has recently seen some time at third base and in left field, possibly preparing him for a role as an everyday utility player. The 22-year-old has tallied 20 home runs and seven stolen bases between Double-A and Triple-A this season, and should provide an added offensive presence in the Astros' everyday lineup moving forward. Danny Worth was designated for assignment in a corresponding move.

Bregman may get a start in left field Wednesday for Triple-A Fresno, MLB.com's Brian McTaggart reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Astros are clearly working on ways to get Bregman comfortable all over the diamond, as he received his first Triple-A start at third base Tuesday. A shortstop by trade, he is quick and agile enough and has the instincts to handle pretty much any position other than catcher, and perhaps center field, so the Astros should have no problem squeezing him into the lineup almost every day once he receives his long awaited call-up to the big leagues.

Bregman will make his Triple-A debut at third base Tuesday against Triple-A Round Rock.
EDGE Analysis
A promotion to the big leagues figures to be in the cards for Bregman in a matter of days, not weeks, as he now has six homers in 13 games at Triple-A, and boasts a 1.010 OPS on the season across 75 games at Double-A and Triple-A. With the Astros signing star Cuban 2B/3B Yulieski Gurriel, it will be interesting to see how the infield is deployed when both Bregman and Gurriel are in the fold, but the Astros will still find a way to get Bregman in the lineup almost every day upon his call-up.

A.J. Hinch said that Bregman will not be joining the Astros when they head to Seattle to face the Mariners on Friday, MLB Network Radio reports
EDGE Analysis
Reports surfaced over the past few days that Bregman might join the Astros right after the All-Star break, but Hinch quickly erased those rumors. Hinch did add that Bregman could help the Astros down the stretch. Bregman will report back to Triple-A Fresno where he has played only eight games this season.
