Jones smacked a double and home run and drove in four runs in Sunday's win over the Royals.
EDGE Analysis
With 27 homers and 76 RBI, Jones is roughly in line with his production from the last four seasons, though his activity on the basepaths has slowed in his age-29 campaign. Still, the annual consistency Jones delivers in the hitting categories continues to impress, and he again looks like he could be worthy of a early-round selection heading into 2016.

EDGE Analysis
Jones was lifted from Monday's game in the eighth inning with shoulder soreness. He initially told reporters that he would play Tuesday, but it appears as though that won't be the case. The Orioles haven't said much about the ailment, and at this point it's unclear whether Jones will be available off the bench.

Jones (shoulder, wrist) says he will play tomorrow and will not undergo any tests, Roch Kubatko of MASNsports.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Two injuries apparently derailed the 30-year-old on Monday. Jones appeared to injure his right shoulder in an at-bat in the seventh inning and has apparently been fighting through wrist soreness as well according to manager Buck Showalter. Jones clearly believes these injuries are not something more sinister and as such his status should be considered day-to-day.

Jones exited Monday's game in the eighth inning with shoulder soreness, Brittany Ghiroli of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Jones was seen grimacing after a swinging strikeout to end the seventh inning and was replaced by Gerardo Parra to begin the eighth inning. Add a shoulder injury to a laundry list of injuries suffered by Jones this year. While it doesn't appear to be anything serious, more information should be available after the game.

Jones (neck) is in the lineup Friday, Dan Connolly of the Baltimore Sun reports. He'll be back in center field and bat third in the order against Cole Hamels and the Rangers.
EDGE Analysis
Jones's status for Friday was up in the air after a scary collision with the outfield wall in Kansas City on Thursday, but X-rays and a concussion test returned negative. The Orioles didn't determine whether he'd be able to play until shortly before releasing their lineup Friday, but he will be back in center field and batting in his usual spot in the lineup.

Jones supplied all of the Orioles offense Sunday against the Nationals, finishing 2-for-4 with a pair of solo home runs.
After failing to top five home runs in any one month of the season, Jones has hit four in the last week. The slugger finally appears to be over the shoulder injury that affected him during the first half of the season and should continue to produce at a rate we are accustomed to seeing in the second half.
