Two injuries apparently derailed the 30-year-old on Monday. Jones appeared to injure his right shoulder in an at-bat in the seventh inning and has apparently been fighting through wrist soreness as well according to manager Buck Showalter. Jones clearly believes these injuries are not something more sinister and as such his status should be considered day-to-day.
