Jones is not in the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Phillies, Roch Kubatko of MASN Sports reports. Jones missed back-to-back games with a sprained ankle at the end of May but has otherwise enjoyed a healthy season. Although any off day is worrisome when dealing with a player who typically pushes the 162-game threshold, there hasn't been any report of an injury.

Jones went 3-for-4 with a solo homer and two runs scored Thursday in Houston. The long ball was just Jones' seventh of the season, as he's been off to a bit of a slow start power-wise. He's been helping out in batting average, though, as this effort pushed Jones' average back to the north of .300. He's going to have a tough time reaching 30 homers if he can't get that power stroke going, but he did break a 20-game homerless streak in this one, and he's certainly a threat to get hot at any time.

Jones (ankle) is back in the lineup Monday against the Astros, Eddie Encina of the Baltimore Sun reports. Jones, who missed the last two games with a mild ankle sprain, will return to action after testing out the ankle during batting practice. Considering he's the designated hitter, he's likely still not quite 100 percent, but the Orioles figure to have him back in center field in the next couple of days. Jones will hit third against Houston's Brett Oberholtzer.

Jones (ankle) said he will test out his ankle during batting practice before determining if he'll play Monday, Brittany Ghiroli of MLB.com reports. After going through some pregame tests, Jones said he feels like he can play center field Monday, but he's going to see how the ankle responds to batting practice before making the final decision. Jones did acknowledge that it's only June 1, so if there is any risk of further injury or aggravation he will not shy away from sitting out a game or two. Look for a more definitive update on his status for Monday's game as the first pitch approaches.

Jones (ankle) is out of the lineup again Sunday against the Rays, Brittany Ghiroli of MLB.com reports. Jones suffered what was believed to be a mild ankle sprain, but with the results of an MRI still pending, it's not a particularly positive sign that he's absent again Sunday. However, he's still considered day-to-day until something suggests otherwise.

Jones is considered day-to-day with a mild ankle sprain, Roch Kubatko of MASN Sports reports. The injury resulted in Jones sitting Saturday for the first time this season. X-rays were negative but the team will send Jones for an MRI as well, so consider the day-to-day tag tentative until additional information becomes available.

Jones is out of the lineup for Saturday's game against the Rays, MASN's Roch Kubatko reports. This is Jones' first day off in 2015, making his stability a major asset for owners. He should be back by Sunday, while David Lough mans center field in his stead.

Jones is in the lineup for Saturday's game against the Yankees, Brittany Ghiroli of MLB.com reports. There was some concern that Jones may have suffered an injury after crashing into the outfield wall Friday, but he is penciled into his normal spots (center field, third in the order) to face right-hander Chase Whitley. Jones is still looking for his first extra-base hit of May.

Jones may have suffered an apparent injury crashing into the outfield wall in Friday's game against the Yankees, Roch Kubatko of MASN Sports reports. Jones did not elaborate about his health, but he did not seem concerned and said he expects to play Saturday. Jones should be good to go Saturday, but his status will be confirmed when the Orioles release their starting lineup for the day.

Jones went 4-for-5 with a homerun, a double and five RBI on Sunday against the Red Sox, extending his hitting streak to nine games in the process. Jones is now the owner of an staggaring 1.338 OPS through 12 games, ranking second in the league in home runs (5) and first in RBI (16) on the season. He is arguably the hottest player in the game right now and is showing no signs of slowing down.
