Aaron Hill had a monster day at the plate in Tuesday's victory over the Giants, going 5-for-5 with a double, a homer, three runs scored and two RBI. Hill finished a triple shy of his third cycle of the season. His two-run blast chased Ryan Vogelsong from the game in the fourth inning and gave the D'Backs a 6-2 lead. He also singled in the 11th inning and came around to score the game-winning run on an RBI triple from Jason Kubel. Hill is having a tremendous season across the board, hitting .302 with 21 homers, 65 RBI and 12 stolen bases.

Aaron Hill went 2-for-3 with a two-run homer Wednesday in the win over the Marlins. Hill drove in all three of Arizona's runs in the contest. With a .302 average, 18 homers and 58 RBI to date, he's been an outstanding signing for the Diamondbacks in the first year of a two-year, $11 million contract.

Aaron Hill went 3-for-4 with a pair of solo home runs in Sunday's win over the Astros. Hill has now homered in back-to-back. He took Armando Galarraga deep in the fourth before tagging Fernando Rodriguez in the eighth. The multi-homer day was his second of the season, with the other coming all the way back on April 7. Hitting .293 since the All-Star break, Hill is sporting a .298/.353/.502 slash on the year.

Aaron Hill hit for the cycle for the second time in the last 12 days, leading the Diamondbacks to a 9-3 win over the Brewers. Hill became just the second player since 1900 to hit for multiple cycles in a single season (Babe Herman in 1931 being the other). He doubled in his first at-bat in the first inning, added a single in the third inning and a two-run homer in the fourth. He completed the cycle in his first attempt, with a triple off Livan Hernandez in the sixth inning. Hill finished the night 4-for-5 with a pair of runs scored, three RBI and a stolen base. He's now hitting .302 on the season with 11 homers, 38 RBI and seven steals, and has been one of the best all around second baseman in the game.

Aaron Hill hit for the cycle Monday as the Diamondbacks routed the Mariners 7-1. Hill singled in the first, tripled in the third, doubled in the fifth and then homered in the eighth to pull it off. Only two weeks ago, he went into his last at-bat needing a double for the cycle, but he couldn't get it done then. He's the second player to hit for the cycle this season, joining the Mets' Scott Hairston.

Aaron Hill went 2-for-5 and hit a three-run homer Friday against the Angels. It was his seventh homer of the year. Hill has had multiple hits six times in his last nine games, raising his average from .253 to .280.

Aaron Hill went 3-for-4 with a pair of doubles Sunday in the Diamondbacks' 4-3 win over the Brewers. Hill is 9-for-13 in his last four games, raising his average from .234 to .269. He probably won't get to 26 homers, like he did in 2010, but since he's stealing some bases now to go along with the solid power numbers, he's worth using in mixed leagues.

Aaron Hill went 1-for-3 and drove home the Diamondbacks only run in their loss to the Nationals on Thursday. Hill's RBI double off of Ross Detwiler in the sixth inning plated Willie Bloomquist and evened the score at 1-1. While struggling with his average, hitting just .256, Hill has provided a solid source of power at the top of the Diamondbacks lineup with four homers and 12 RBI thus far.

Aaron Hill is not in the Diamondbacks' starting lineup for Monday afternoon's game against the Marlins. The absence is not believed to be injury-related. Ryan Roberts is playing second base and Cody Ransom is handling third. Hill is batting .266/.363/.481 with four homers, two steals and 10 RBI in 22 games this season.

Aaron Hill was the star of the show in the Diamondbacks' 5-4 win over the Giants on Saturday, going 2-for-4 with two home runs and three RBI. Hill tagged Madison Bumgarner for two-run shots in the first and second innings. Though he only hit eight home runs in 2011, he did average 31 long balls per season in the previous two. His new home at Chase Field plays well to right-handed power, so don't be surprised if Hill finishes with more than 20 homers in 2012.
