Daniel Paille skated on the third line in Boston's Game 2 victory against Montreal. He scored his first goal of the postseason to open the scoring in the Bruins' 5-3 win. Paille logged 11:51 of ice time in his second game back from a suspected concussion. Jordan Caron skated on the fourth line in his place.

Daniel Paille is officially listed as a game-time decision for Game 1 against Montreal on Thursday night. "Yesterday, and going into this morning's skate, I feel like I'm back to where I need to be," Paille said. He's healthy enough to play and he'll probably draw into the lineup after missing the opening round with a suspected concussion.

Daniel Paille (upper body) is expected to be available when Boston's second-round series against Montreal begins on Thursday. Coach Claude Julien said that Paille should be back for Game 1 after he skated with the team on Tuesday.

Daniel Paille (concussion) received clearance to warm up with the team before Game 5. He could be available to play at the start of Round 2 versus Montreal. Paille hasn't appeared in a game since April 12 when he suffered a suspected concussion against Buffalo.

It is unclear whether Daniel Paille will dress for Game 5 against the Red Wings Saturday afternoon. Paille was cleared for contact earlier this week and seems to have recovered from a concussion that has sidelined him since April 12th. He certainly looked healthy enough to play in Friday's practice. Don't be surprised if Paille returns to action for Saturday's 3:00 pm matinee. If he does, it will likely be in place of Jordan Caron.

Daniel Paille (upper body) got back on the ice with his teammates for Thursday's morning skate. "He's inching toward the right side, I would say," coach Claude Julien said. Paille has been cleared for contact, so he is getting close to being available to play for the first time since April 12.

Daniel Paille (upper body) skated on Wednesday. He took Tuesday's session off after he returned to the ice on Monday for an optional skate. Coach Claude Julien didn't provide an update on Paille's availability, so consider him day-to-day and doubtful to play Thursday in Game 4.

Daniel Paille (upper body) participated in an optional practice on Monday. He didn't take part in contact drills and it sounds like he's still a ways away from returning. "Dan Paille's out there right now skating, so that's the right direction, but we'll have to go about our injuries just like we normally would, in a safe and proper manner," said coach Claude Julien.

Daniel Paille did not practice this week and is unlikely to play Friday in Game 1 of the opening round of the playoffs against Detroit. He is still experiencing concussion-like symptoms. Jordan Caron skated in Paille's place on the Bruins' fourth line during scrimmages Thursday and will likely take his place in Friday's contest against the Red Wings. Consider Paille day-to-day until further notice.

The Bruins apparently received "good news" regarding Daniel Paille after he had to be helped off the ice Saturday. He is doing "very well" and it sounds like he could be ready to play when the postseason begins. The Bruins and Detroit don't open their first-round series until Friday. It was initially feared that Paille may have suffered a concussion after he was belted by Buffalo's Jake McCabe, but he reportedly passed those tests.
