Glencross (lower body) was back on the ice for Wednesday's practice wearing a green jersey, Aaron Vickers of NHL.com reports. Glencross has been close to a return a few times since getting hurt three weeks ago, but had setbacks. He should return sometime in the next week, but he'll have to take it slower this time around.

Coach Bob Hartley said Thursday that Glencross (lower body) suffered a minor setback in his recovery from injury, Wes Gilbertson of the Calgary Sun reports. Glencross wasn't expected to play Thursday, but the team did expect him to take part in their morning skate. However, the winger evidently didn't recover as well as the Flames had hoped following Wednesday's practice session, so it sounds like his return could be delayed by at least a few more days. His chances of playing in the Flames' next game Saturday against the Oilers don't appear to be promising.

Glencross (lower body) will not return to action Thursday against the Wild, Pat Steinberg of Sportsnet.ca reports. Glencross was able to get in a practice Wednesday, but it won't be enough for the coaching staff to sign off on his return to the lineup. He'll instead turn his focus to getting ready for Saturday's game against the Oilers.

Glencross (lower body) participated in practice Wednesday morning, Scott Cruickshank of the Calgary Herald reports. Following Tuesday's game, coach Bob Hartley indicated Glencross could return as early as Thursday, and his presence at Wednesday's practice seems to improve the chances of that. More on his status should become known closer to Thursday's opening faceoff.

Glencross (lower body) could return as early as Thursday's game against the Wild, Pat Steinberg of Sportsnet 960 The FAN reports. Glencross last played in a game Jan. 15, and he won't be ready for Tuesday's contest against the Sabres. If not Thursday, he might be back Saturday against Edmonton.

Glencross (lower body) was not on the ice for practice Monday, Aaron Vickers of the Flames' official site reports. Glencross was placed on injured reserve Jan. 17, giving him plenty of time to rest up over the All-Star break, but may have suffered a serious enough injury that it will extend into the second half. The fact that he didn't practice Monday likely indicates he will miss at least Tuesday's game against the Sabres, but a more official word on his status should come before the opening faceoff.

Glencross (lower body) has been placed on IR by the Flames. Based on the timing of the move, the soonest we might see Glencross back in action is after the NHL All-Star break, when the Flames take on the Sabres on Jan. 27.

Glencross (lower body) missed Saturday's 4-3 overtime win over the Sharks after being injured Thursday. Glencross' injury isn't overly serious, but it was enough to keep him out of the lineup. He should return Monday against Los Angeles.

Coach Bob Hartley indicated that Glencross (lower body) is "very, very doubtful" for Saturday's game against the Sharks. While not officially ruled out for Saturday, it looks like we won't see Glencross back in action before Monday's game against the Kings.

Glencross (lower body) was absent from Friday's practice, Pat Steinberg of Sportsnet.ca reports. It doesn't come as a surprise that Glencross missed practice a day after suffering the injury in a win over the Coyotes. He'll be considered day-to-day until the Flames provide a firmer diagnosis of his condition.
