Curtis Glencross is hoping to return from his ankle injury in Calgary's first game back after the Olympic break. However, he won't rush back into the lineup before he is ready. Glencross has skated in just 21 games this season and he's missed 37 outings due to injuries. The Flames will get a clearer picture of his status on Wednesday when NHL teams are able to resume practices.

Curtis Glencross is expected to miss eight weeks with a high ankle sprain. Glencross was playing in his sixth game since returning from a knee injury when he went down again. He has six goals and 12 points in 20 games this season. Its worth noting that his projected return date corresponds with the Olympic break, so odds are he'll end up returning at or shortly after the Flames' first game back on Feb. 27.

Calgary Flames forward Curtis Glencross suffered a lower-body injury and won't return during Saturday's game against the Pittsburgh Penguins. There's some fear that Glencross re-injured his left knee, which is worrisome because he missed 15 games with ailments related to his knee before. Glencross has 12 points in 20 games played this season.

Curtis Glencross (knee) practiced with Calgary on Monday for the first time in over a month. Glencross is about five weeks into his original six-week timetable. At this point though, it sounds like it's mostly a matter of him getting his timing back. "It's going to take a couple of skates to get it," he said.
