Lindback stopped a career-high 49 of 52 shot attempts to capture a 4-3 win over the Hurricanes on Monday. Lindback was under siege early but held steady, stopping 23 shots just in the first period. Despite the drastic discrepancy in shots, the Sabres actually managed to build a 4-0 lead late in second period, before the Hurricanes finally broke Lindback over the game's last 22 minutes to make the final margin more respectable. Those looking purely for stabilization in save percentage could benefit from rostering Lindback, who upholds a .923 mark over his 14 games, but he's a risk in just about every other department from a fantasy perspective. By virtue of the sheer number of shots he faces, his GAA is prone to inflation, and wins don't come easily either as a member of the NHL's worst team.

Lindback will start in net Monday against the Hurricanes, Paul Hamilton of WGR 550 AM reports. Lindback received a night off Saturday, but will return to the net Monday as the Sabres near the end of a woefully bad season. He allowed seven goals in his last two appearances, but will receive some relief Monday facing a Hurricanes squad that has a hard time finding the back of the net.

Lindback gave up four goals on 36 shots in Friday's loss to the Blackhawks. Lindback has now given up seven goals in his last two appearances, dropping his save percentage to .903 on the season. While this loss was just his first defeat in three games, he still owns a lackluster 5-14-2 record and 3.17 GAA on the season. He's likely to start the final few games for the Sabres, but with the way Buffalo has struggled, don't expect much from the 26-year-old.

Lindback will start Friday's game against the Blackhawks. Lindback is looking for a third consecutive victory, after picking up his fourth and fifth wins of the season against the hapless Coyotes and Maple Leafs. Things probably won't come so easy against the Blackhawks, but Lindback does at least have home-ice advantage.

Lindback allowed three goals on 27 shots in Wednesday's 4-3 win over the Maple Leafs. Although Lindback didn't play particularly well, he was able to pick up his second straight victory, and moved to 5-13-2 on the season. With Buffalo struggling as much as they have this year, it's probably best to stay away from Lindback for now in most fantasy leagues.

Lindback will be in goal for Wednesday's game against the Maple Leafs, Paul Hamilton of WGR Sports Radio 550 reports. With Matt Hackett still nursing a knee injury, it's an easy call for coach Ted Nolan to go with Lindback, who steered the Sabres to a 4-1 victory Monday night. While he hardly makes for an inspiring fantasy option given his woeful 4-13-2 record on the season, Lindback will have a decent shot at extending his winning streak to two games. The Leafs rank 23rd in the league in scoring and could be fatigued after playing their second game in as many nights.

Lindback made 28 of 29 saves in a 4-1 win over the Coyotes on Monday. Lindback came away with just his fourth win in 21 appearances this season in a fine effort against the similarly-terrible Coyotes. He's now 2-5-2 with a 2.62 GAA and .926 save percentage since coming to Buffalo from Dallas.

Lindback is slated to start Monday's game against the Coyotes, John Vogl of the Buffalo News reports. With Matt Hackett not spotted at the team's morning skate, look for Andrey Makarov to back Lindback up on Monday. The Sabres currently sit in 30th/last place in the NHL standings with 48 points, while the Coyotes are 29th overall, with 54 points.

Lindback was pulled from Saturday's game against the Avalanche after giving up two goals on 12 shots. This was the third straight poor outing from Lindback, who has given up eight goals in his last three games. While Matt Hackett will get credit for the loss, Lindback sees his save percentage drop to .901 and his GAA rise to 3.25 GAA. The 26-year-old may see the majority of starts as the season wind downs, but the Sabres are at the bottom of the standings and Lindback has just one win in his last 10 games played.

Lindback has been confirmed as the starter in goal for Saturday's tilt with the Avalanche, John Vogl of the Buffalo News reports. Lindback has alternated starts with Matt Hackett over the last few games, but he still appears in line to handle the majority of the turns in goal the rest of the way for Sabres. That won't exactly amount to much, as the team has barely been able to remain competitive most nights. Over nine appearances (eight starts) with the Sabres, Lindback is 1-5-2 with a 2.67 GAA and .926 save percentage.
