Lindback has been confirmed as the starter in goal for Saturday's tilt with the Avalanche, John Vogl of the Buffalo News reports. Lindback has alternated starts with Matt Hackett over the last few games, but he still appears in line to handle the majority of the turns in goal the rest of the way for Sabres. That won't exactly amount to much, as the team has barely been able to remain competitive most nights. Over nine appearances (eight starts) with the Sabres, Lindback is 1-5-2 with a 2.67 GAA and .926 save percentage.
