Marshall was carted to the locker room after injuring his lower left leg Sunday against the Chargers, Ralph Vacchiano of SportsNet New York reports.
EDGE Analysis
Marshall appeared to jam his foot at the conclusion of an Eli Manning incompletion. The injury has been variously referenced as a foot or ankle ailment, but the Giants will clarify on its nature in due time. With Sterling Shepard (ankle) also going down Sunday, Odell Beckham, Roger Lewis and Dwayne Harris will comprise the healthy bodies in the wide receiver corps moving forward.

Marshall (toe) practiced fully Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
Despite being listed as limited at Wednesday's session, Marshall didn't appear to justify such a designation, per Tom Rock of Newsday. One day later, Marshall did just that, making it clear he's ready for Sunday's matchup with the Chargers.

Marshall (toe) was limited at Wednesday's practice.
EDGE Analysis
The designation belies Marshall's apparent participation in the part of practice open to the media, as he didn't seem to be limited, according to Tom Rock of Newsday. While Marshall will likely be good to go Week 5, expect his availability to receive some clarity by the release of Friday's injury report.

Marshall (toe) will appear on the Giants' Week 5 injury report.
EDGE Analysis
It remains to be seen how the issue impacts the wideout's level of practice participation, but he did manage to take the field for 82% of the Giants' 80 snaps on offense in Sunday's 25-23 loss to the Buccaneers, en route to hauling in six of his 10 targets for 46 yards.

Marshall brought in six of 10 targets for 46 yards in Sunday's 25-23 loss to the Buccaneers.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran possession receiver put together his second consecutive productive effort after a slow start to his Giants tenure. Marshall has posted 14 receptions on 24 targets over the last two weeks, although he's managed single-digit YPC figures in both contests. While he hasn't been able to parlay his trademark red-zone prowess into any touchdowns to date, his significantly improved rapport with QB Eli Manning hints at an eventual ascension to the mean in that category. He'll look to break the ice in a Week 5 tilt versus the Chargers.

Marshall caught eight of 11 targets for 66 yards Sunday against the Eagles.
EDGE Analysis
After two quiet games, Marshall finally got involved, albeit at a low rate of efficiency (six yards per target.) With Odell Beckham healthy and Sterling Shepard proving to be a significant part of the offense, Marshall's upside is limited, but the Giants can't run the ball at all, so he should see regular targets more often than not.

Tue 9/19/17 4:13 AM

Marshall caught only one of five targets Monday night for 17 yards.
EDGE Analysis
Marshall also dropped arguably Eli Manning's best throw of the night on a sideline route that would have given the team a much-needed first down. Given how poorly the Giants offense has done, Marshall has to make the most of his opportunities in order to stay relevant.

Marshall hauled in only one of his four targets for 10 yards - on the last play of the game.
EDGE Analysis
Marshall wasn't open very often, and Eli Manning rarely had time to look beyond check-downs to Shane Vereen and Sterling Shepard. Week 1 doesn't bode well for Marshall, though he should have more room to roam when Odell Beckham returns, likely in Week 2.

Marshall (shoulder) is not listed on the injury report for Sunday's game in Dallas.
EDGE Analysis
Marshall returned to practice last Monday and was never in any real danger of missing the opener. The same can't be said of teammate Odell Beckham (ankle), who didn't participate in Wednesday's practice but seemed to be moving around well while stretching on the side, according to NFL Network's Judy Battista. A Beckham absence would necessitate a significant uptick in Marshall's target projection, though efficiency would be a different story.

Marshall (shoulder) practiced Monday, Ralph Vacchiano of SportsNet New York reports.
EDGE Analysis
Marshall sat out the final two preseason games but returned to practice last Monday. While his availability doesn't seem to be in doubt for Sunday's opener against Dallas, the same can't be said for teammate Odell Beckham (ankle), who didn't take part in Monday's session.
