Lavoie was quiet early in the series but popped off to help Chicoutimi sweep Halifax. He gad five points over four outings in the sweep. Lavoie posted 10 goals and 47 points across 56 regular-season outings between Chicoutimi and Cape Breton, which is hardly elite production, but he projects to be a shutdown defenseman as a professional starting in 2026-27.

Mutryn helped the Wildcats sweep their first-round series, earning two goals and four assists over four contests. The Sharks prospect will have to wait a bit before adding to his totals in the second round.
