Winnipeg brought up Zach Redmond Sunday. Redmond has spent most of the 2013-14 campaign in the minors and he's appeared in three games with the Jets. All of those appearances came in November.

Zach Redmond was sent to the minors over the weekend. He hasn't suited up with the Jets since Nov. 21, so getting some playing time in the minors should be good for him.

Zach Redmond could be heading to the minors soon. Coach Paul Maurice wants Redmond to get into some games since he isn't playing for the Jets. However, the move probably won't come until closer to the Olympic break. Redmond has played in three games this season with Winnipeg and he hasn't played since Nov. 21.

Zach Redmond was recalled from St. John's of the AHL Friday. He was needed due to the shift of Dustin Byfuglien from defense to forward. Redmond will likely be used as a seventh defenseman to start. However, given the weak third unit of the Jets featuring Keaton Ellerby and Adam Pardy, we wouldn't be surprised if Redmond cracked the top six should Buff stick as a forward.

The Winnipeg Jets signed Zach Redmond to a one-year, two-way deal. Redmond's contract pays $715K at the NHL level and 65K in the AHL. The defenseman has four points in eight games with the Jets and 19 in 38 games for the St. John's Ice Caps in 2013.
