Redmond was recalled from AHL San Antonio on Thursday, Mike Chambers of the Denver Post reports.
EDGE Analysis
Redmond won't play in Thursday's game against the Bruins, but will serve as the team's seventh defenseman on the road trip. The 27-year-old has collected seven points and posted a plus-6 rating through 11 games with AHL San Antonio this season, and will look to tally his first point at the NHL level this season should he draw into one of the games on the road trip.

Redmond has been sent to AHL San Antonio, Ken Wiebe of the Winnipeg Sun reports.
EDGE Analysis
Redmond scored 20 points over 59 games with the Avalanche in 2014-15, but the 27-year-old was unable to crack the Winnipeg final roster. Look for the Jets to turn back to Redmond, who is in the midst of his second stint with the organization, if the need for defensive help arises down the road.

Redmond registered an assist on the Avalanche's lone goal in Wednesday's loss to the Sharks. Redmond has quietly been one of the Avs' most effective puck movers from the blue line this season, and it's beginning to yield results. He's picked up an assist in four of his last six games, which has helped him recover from a relative goal drought for most of the campaign. Though he's averaging over a shot attempt per game, Redmond's 5.7 percent shooting rate has only allowed him to find twine five times in 54 contests.

Redmond scored his fifth goal of the season and had an assist in Sunday's win over the Wild. It was his first points in seven games, giving him 15 points in 43 games on the season. Averaging 17:44 of ice time, the 26-year-old is a solid depth defenseman who can be of value in some very deep leagues.

Redmond picked up two assists in Monday's win over the Coyotes.Redmond has been a fixture in the Avs' lineup since Erik Johnson required a knee scope in late January, but he has yet to do much with the opportunity. Despite seeing power-play time and putting up 21 shots over his last 10 games, Redmond has no goals and three assists to show for it. His per-game offensive production (four goals, nine assists, 60 SOG in 35 games) gives Redmond some upside, but he'll probably need to go on a prolonged scoring streak before those outside of deeper formats take notice.

Redmond recorded an assist and five shots on goal in Tuesday's 4-3 loss to the Predators. Redmond had been a healthy scratch for most of January, but with Erik Johnson set to miss the next 3-to-8 weeks with a knee injury, a regular lineup spot awaits for the blueliner. With four goals, 11 points and 44 shot attempts in the 27 games he's played this season, Redmond presents more upside than most of the league's depth defensemen. The promise of a regular role for the next several games makes him worthy of a speculative roster addition in deeper formats.

Redmond will be a healthy scratch for Wednesday's game against the Flyers. Nick Holden will move back into the lineup while Redmond takes a seat in the press box. Redmond has shown flashes of offensive upside with four goals and 10 points in 25 games, but he's made difficulty picking up anything more than third-pairing minutes.

Redmond tallied his fourth goal of the season in Tuesday's 5-0 win over the Blues. Though he didn't enter the season with a regular role on the Avs' blue line, Redmond has proven to be a suitable replacement for both Brad Stuart and now Ryan Wilson. With 10 points and a plus-5 rating over 23 games, Redmond offers more offensive upside than the typical third-pairing defenseman, making him legitimately interesting in deeper formats.
