According to head coach Bruce Boudreau, Parise (back) will skate with the team Friday.
EDGE Analysis
Parise has missed a handful practices over the past few weeks but will be back on the ice Friday, a reassuring sign for the Wild with the regular season nearing. Look for more updates on his status to come throughout the week.

Parise (back) will meet with doctors Thursday to determine when he can resume skating with his teammates.
EDGE Analysis
Despite his string of missed training camp sessions, the organization insists Parise is still considered day-to-day. The Wild open the season Oct. 5 on the road against Detroit, which gives the winger an abridged timeline to get back to 100 percent. Injuries limited the 33-year-old to just 69 outings last year, but that didn't stop him from racking up 19 goals and 23 helpers. Its that level of production that likely makes the Minneapolis, Minnesota native worth picking up in most formats, despite his injury woes.

Parise (back) did not play in Monday's preseason game and hasn't participated in practice yet this preseason, Michael Russo of TheAthletic.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Parise suffered a herniated disc two years ago, which heightens the concern for the 33-year-old forward. The exact nature of his injury isn't clear, but he's being called day-to-day. Still, an injury this early in camp is worrisome.

Parise will enter training camp with a hurt back, Michael Russo of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Parise suffered a herniated disc two years ago, which heightens the concern for the 33-year-old forward. The veteran suffered a slump last season, scoring less than 50 points in a non-lockout season for the first time since his first season in 2005. Parise did miss 13 games in 2016-17, but it's evidence that he's beginning to regress. Keep an eye on how this injury progresses through camp.

Parise scored Minnesota's only goal during Friday's Game 2 loss to St. Louis.
EDGE Analysis
With five goals, 13 points and 37 shots over 14 games dating back to the regular season, Parise is finishing off the campaign in good form. He'll need to continue being a key offensive cog If Minnesota is going to climb back into this series, too. Unfortunately, Parise's name value often makes him a pricey fantasy commodity, but if he slips in drafts next fall, he provides a respectable floor when healthy.

Parise scored a goal with 22.7 seconds left in regulation to force overtime in Game 1 against the Blues.
EDGE Analysis
The Wild went on to lose in OT, but at least Parise gave the home fans something to cheer about when it appeared Minnesota was headed for a 1-0 loss in regulation. He has 31 goals and 69 points in 90 career playoff outings.

Parise posted a goal with two assists and a plus-2 rating in Tuesday's 5-3 win against the Hurricanes.
EDGE Analysis
Parise was clipped in the eye by a high stick March 28 against Washington. The good news is that he has not seemed to have any vision issues. In fact, that incident appears to have angered him, as he has two goals and four points over the past two outings.

Parise (upper body) took line rushes in warmups Saturday, per Michael Russo of the Star Tribune. This means that he'll be out there for the matinee against the Predators.
EDGE Analysis
Parise was initially expected to miss three games after taking a stick to his eye in Tuesday's game against the Capitals, but evidently he's made solid progress since then. Fantasy owners should feel safe putting back into lineups at this time. The savvy winger has 17 goals, 20 assists, and 11 power-play points over 64 games this year.

Parise (upper body) is reportedly planning to play Saturday's game in Nashville, Robby Stanley of NHL.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Fantasy owners and daily players will likely want to wait for some more solid confirmation before penciling Parise into their lineups, but if he is able to go it would be a welcome surprise to all involved, as the veteran forward was projected to miss more than just one contest after sustaining a scary looking injury. Check back for updates ahead of puck drop Saturday.

Parise (upper body) is likely to miss the next three contests, the Associated Press reports.
EDGE Analysis
Parise took a high stick near his eye in Tuesday's loss to the Capitals and he's reportedly been dealing with bruising and swelling in that area. With the Wild having already clinched a playoff spot and currently holding the No. 2 seed in the Western Conference, the priority is likely to ensure that the oft-injured winger is ready to go for the playoffs.
