Johnson picked up a goal and an assist in Saturday's win over Florida. He'd missed three games, but it was clear he hadn't missed a beat. Get him back in there if he's been on your bench.

Johnson, who's missed the last three games with an upper-body injury, is on the ice as expected for Saturday's pregame warmups, Erik Erlandsson of The Tampa Tribune reports. The top-20 scorer will return to his spot on the Bolts' second line, so feel free to activate him right away.

Johnson (upper body) took part in Saturday's morning skate and is expected to play later in the evening against the Panthers, Erik Erlendsson of the Tampa Tribune reports. Coach Jon Cooper suggested earlier in the week that Johnson was questionable at best to suit up Saturday, but it sounds like the center made significant progress over the last couple of days to perhaps talk his way into the lineup. In addition to skating Saturday, Johnson able to get in a practice Friday without incident. He'll meet with the training and coaching staffs later in the afternoon for an additional evaluation, but that looks to be just be a formality at this point. Fantasy players should tentatively count on having Johnson available Saturday.

Johnson (upper body) skated during an optional practice Friday, Erik Erlendsson of the Tampa Tribune reports. Johnson is still expected to miss Saturday's game against the Panthers, but his presence on the ice Friday offers encouragement that he'll be able to play again next week. He'll likely try to skate a few more times before making a possible return to the lineup next Thursday against the Devils.

Coach Jon Cooper said Johnson has been ruled out for Thursday's game against the Senators, and is unlikely to play Saturday against the Panthers, too, Joe Smith of the Tampa Bay Times reports. After Johnson missed the Bolts' previous two games, there was some optimism the center might be able to play Thursday after he was on the ice in full gear during the team's morning skate. Johnson was able to take part in line rushes and participated in penalty-kill drills, but the team determined that he needed more practice time to demonstrate that he's fully healthy. With Cooper skeptical of Johnson's chances of playing Saturday, the 26-year-old will aim to be ready for the Bolts' final two regular-season games next week.

Coach Jon Cooper said Johnson (upper body) would miss Tuesday's game against the Maple Leafs, Joe Smith of the Tampa Bay Times reports. Though Johnson will sit for a second straight contest, Cooper suggested the center could be available for the final two games of the Bolts' road trip, which will take the team to Ottawa on Thursday for its next match. Johnson should continue to be viewed as day-to-day, but as soon as his return is formally announced, be sure to plug him back into your lineup immediately.

Johnson provided an assist in Sunday's win over the Bruins, giving him his first point in five games. It marked the longest scoring drought of the season for Johnson, who remains on track to reach the 70-point mark despite his swoon in March. While Johnson has already surpassed even the most optimistic of preseason projections, fantasy owners who have reaped the benefits all season may have to think long and hard about sitting the center during the fantasy playoffs. During his last five games, he's only put 11 shots on net, while seeing a slight reduction in minutes from his season average of 17:18 TOI.

Johnson scored the game's only goal in overtime to lift the Lightning over the Canadiens on Tuesday night. He grabbed his own rebound and put it in off a defender's skate. The point extended his scoring streak to seven games and nine points, including three goals. His longest scoreless streak this season is just three games, so his consistency has been remarkable. And at this point, he's leading the team in scoring and on track for about 80 points. Not bad for an undrafted sophomore, eh?
