Johnson (undisclosed) is not on the ice for practice Monday, reports Joe Smith of the Tampa Bay Times. Johnson left Saturday's game after two shifts and is considered day-to-day.
EDGE Analysis
There's still no word on what exactly caused the injury or what it entails, and we may not know until game time Thursday. Interestingly enough, the Bolts waived Mike Angelidis this morning, but he remained on the ice at practice, ostensibly as a precaution should one of the injured Bolts not be ready to roll.

Johnson is just day-to-day with an undisclosed issue that occurred in Saturday's preseason game, the Tampa Bay Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
This is very fortunate news for the Lightning, as they lost both Johnson and Alex Killorn to undisclosed injuries Saturday, but both are just day-to-day. General Manager Steve Yzerman indicated that he's "hoping that everyone will be ready for Thursday" when the Lightning open their season against the Flyers, but that should sort itself out as the week progresses.

Johnson exited Saturday's preseason game with an undisclosed injury, Joe Smith of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
Johnson played in the first two periods before exiting in the third with an apparent injury. More information should be available in the coming days, but this can't be good news for the Lightning with right wing Nikita Kucherov (lower body) also injured heading into their opener.

Johnson (wrist) is ripping his one-timer into the net at training camp, something he wasn't able to do in the postseason, so his recovery from a broken wrist seems to be going well.
EDGE Analysis
"The kid is back," said Jon Cooper over the weekend. He should be lock to replicate his exploits from this past season.

Johnson (wrist) is a participant in Wednesday's practice and doesn't look hesitant with his shot, Joe Smith of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
Over the weekend, reports came out that Johnson would be ready to go in time for training camp, but his presence on the ice and shooting without reservations is yet another positive step. His recovery is a big step toward the Lightning's return as a power in the East.

Johnson (wrist) will be "ready to go" for training camp on Sept. 17, according to Joe Smith of the Tampa Bay Times.
EDGE Analysis
He led all Bolts with 72 points in 77 regular-season games and carried that momentum through the Cup playoffs. Well, at least until he suffered the wrist injury. He should be able to replicate that success in 2015-16.

Johnson's broken right wrist will not require surgery, Joe Smith of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
Johnson and the Lightning didn't think the injury would require surgery at the end of the season, but this news is nevertheless encouraging. He was a stud for Tampa Bay this year, registering 29 goals and 43 assists for a total of 72 points in 77 games with the Bolts in 2014-15. He should be ready for the start of Tampa Bay's training camp in September, and will remain a top fantasy commodity in 2015-16.

Johnson said he played through a broken wrist suffered early in the Stanley Cup Finals against the Blackhawks, Joe Smith of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
That might help explain Johnson's three-game scoreless streak to end the series after he was exactly a point-per-game player for the first 23 games of the playoffs. Give him credit for playing through the injury, and now he'll have a few months to heal up before the start of next season.

Johnson scored his league leading 12th goal of the postseason in Saturday's 4-3 win in Game 2 of the Cup Final against the Blackhawks.
It was his first goal since Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Finals. But just like in each of the Bolts' previous three series, Johnson and the Triplets lead the offensive charge in Game 2. Johnson sits on top of the NHL postseason scoring list with 22 points and certainly could stay in that spot if he can keep up the offence.

Johnson still leads the NHL in playoff goals, but he has been stuck on 12 since Game 3 against the Rangers. And the Triplet Line -- Johnson, Nikita Kucherov and Ondrej Palat -- have combined for just three goals and eight points over the last five games.
Johnson is a tough guy, but he took a nasty slash to the ribs from the Rangers' Kevin Hayes and was absolutely flattened by Brent Seabrook in Game 1 against the Hawks. The Triplets Line was held to a very quiet two shots in Game 1. And even half of those eight combined points came off two goals in garbage time in that 7-3 Game 6 loss to New York. Maybe a couple days off between games will recharge the batteries -- these guys have been the drivers of Game 2 bounce backs against the Wings, Habs and Rangers.
