Johnson scored twice Wednesday in a 4-3 overtime win over the Canadiens.
EDGE Analysis
His second goal was the overtime winner. Johnson has five points, including three goals, in his last five games, but just 21 points in 36 games. Johnson's shooting percentage this season has climbed back to the same levels as his best two seasons, so it's not unrealistic to expect a 25-goal effort this year. Just don't count on him to get anywhere near his excellent 72-point output in 2014-15.

Johnson registered a pair of power-play assists in Tuesday's 4-1 win over Detroit.
EDGE Analysis
He hadn't put more than one point up in a game since Nov. 10 against the Islanders. On the bright side, in the 18 games since, Johnson notched a modest four goals and five assists, so he wasn't totally worthless. Still, with 19 points in 33 games, he's mostly been useful in deeper formats despite having ascended to major minutes in the absence of Steven Stamkos.

Johnson scored a third-period goal during a loss to Nashville on Monday to extend his point streak to four games.
EDGE Analysis
With Steven Stamkos (knee) out, Johnson ascends to being the unquestioned No. 1 offensive center for the Lightning. The 27-year-old pivot has responded with two goals, two assists and 14 shots over the past four games, and his fantasy value is trending up significantly. Johnson should be owned in all seasonal formats, and he currently presents nice value in daily contests.

Johnson scored a power-play goal that stood as the game winner in a 3-0 victory over the Flyers.
EDGE Analysis
Johnson has a modest three-game point streak on the go and eight points, including four goals, in his last nine games. He has become the Bolts' top line pivot with Steven Stamkos' injury and has been reunited with Nikita Kucherov. Those of you who invested after his 38-point struggle that was 2015-16 should be well rewarded.

Johnson scored a power-play goal and added a power-play assist in Thursday's 4-1 win over the Islanders.
EDGE Analysis
Johnson assisted on Steven Stamkos' first-period tally, and chased Islanders netminder Jaroslav Halak while extending the lead to 3-0 early in the second. Five of the diminutive forward's eight points have come on the power play, as the extra body and fear of Stamkos' shot gives him plenty of space to work with. Johnson has 45 points with the man advantage since the start of the 2013-14 season, so don't expect that production to dry up anytime soon.

Johnson scored two goals, one on the power play, in Thursday's 4-3 shootout loss to Boston.
EDGE Analysis
Johnson now has four goals and two assists in 11 games this season. His start has been a bit slow and his minus-7 rating is a stunner for a guy who had accumulated a plus-63 rating in 242 career games. Johnson is better than his stat sheet shows; his owner may have a weak moment and trade him at a discount. Swoop in.

Johnson scored Tampa's only goal in a 3-1 loss to New Jersey on Saturday night.
EDGE Analysis
He's been scuffling of late; the goal is just his second of the season (eight games). Johnson struggled through 2015-16 after two strong seasons, but injuries were blamed for the drop. There's no thought Johnson is hurt, so this slow start is a bit concerning. Monitor.

Johnson has had a solid start to the season, scoring a goal and adding an assist in the first two games.
EDGE Analysis
He's heading into a contract year, so a strong performance will earn him a big pay day. And likely a ticket out of Tampa. But for now, Johnson is the go-to second-line center who'll deliver on the power play. Plenty of fantasy value here.

Johnson has had a healthy offseason and says he is "... stronger than I've ever been," reports the Tampa Bay Times.
EDGE Analysis
Johnson hopes to get off to a better start than last season when he began with a 12-game goal drought and had just four in his first 29 games. That sluggish start can now be tied to that broken wrist he had suffered in the 2015 Stanley Cup Final and he didn't actually have any strength until the start of 2016. He was able to train fully this offseason with zero need to rehab an injury and he hopes to rebound to the 29-goal heights of his 2014-15 All-Star season.

Johnson netted the game-winning goal in overtime Sunday, helping the Lightning to a 3-2 advantage in the series against the Penguins.
EDGE Analysis
Johnson also had the primary assist on Nikita Kucherov's marker in the third period to tie the game. With four points and goals in three consecutive games -- including game-winners in his last two -- Johnson has been a nightmare for the Penguins in this series. Remember, he took a puck to the grill ahead of Game 4 on Friday, but that hasn't seemed to have affected him in the slightest. He'll look for more in Game 6 on Tuesday.
