EDGE Analysis
The 32-year-old was rather hot heading into the All-Star break, and he was excellent in the first game out of it. Rask has been great all season, but in his last seven games, he is 5-0-1 with a .943 save percentage. He is 18-4-6 with a 2.23 GAA and .927 save percentage in 29 games this season.

According to Joe McDonald of The Athletic, Rask was the first goalie off the ice at morning skate, which indicates he'll start between the pipes in Friday's road matchup with Winnipeg.
EDGE Analysis
Rask hasn't played since Jan. 14 against Columbus due to a concussion, so he'll likely have some rust to shake off early on against the Jets. The 32-year-old netminder will attempt to secure his 18th victory of the season in a favorable road matchup with a struggling Winnipeg club that's lost four straight games.

Rask (concussion) is no longer listed on injured reserve, per the NHL's official media site.
EDGE Analysis
Rask missed Boston's last three games due to a concussion, but he was always expected to be available following the All-Star break, so this news doesn't come as a surprise. The 32-year-old Finn will likely be back between the pipes when the Bruins return to action Jan. 31 against the Jets.

Rask (concussion) appears to be fine according to coach Bruce Cassidy, Matt Porter of The Boston Globe reports.
EDGE Analysis
Rask is on injured reserve after suffering a concussion versus the Blue Jackets on Jan. 14. He's eligible to be activated at any time, but he'll likely remain on IR until after the Bruins' bye week. The Bruins next game is Jan. 31 in Winnipeg -- hopefully with some additional rest, Rask will be able to make his return then or soon after.

Rask (concussion) was designated for injured reserve Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
While it's difficult to pinpoint a recovery timeline for concussions, Rask's placement on IR ensures he will be out of the lineup for the Bruins' next two outings. In fact, with the All-Star break on the horizon, it wouldn't be a surprise to see Rask held out until Jan. 31 against Winnipeg, at the earliest. In the Finn's absence, Jaroslav Halak figures to see the bulk of the workload while Daniel Vladar was recalled from AHL Providence.

Head coach Bruce Cassidy said Rask suffered a concussion in Tuesday's game against the Blue Jackets, Matt Porter of The Boston Globe reports.
EDGE Analysis
The official diagnosis makes it tough to know when Rask will be able to return to action. Rask is without a timeline currently. In his absence, expect Jaroslav Halak to see most of the starts, while Maxime Lagace figures to be the top candidate to be called up from AHL Providence to serve as the backup.

Rask will not participate in the 2020 NHL All-Star Game.
EDGE Analysis
Rask will forego to the All-Star event and opt to use the time off to rest up for the Bruins' playoff race. Of course, the 32-year-old netminder will need to serve the mandatory one-game suspension for voluntarily skipping the game. Expect him to serve that after the break.

Rask will tend the road twine Tuesday versus the Blue Jackets, Steve Conroy of the Boston Herald reports.
EDGE Analysis
Jaroslav Halak will start Monday versus the Flyers, so Rask gets the nod on the second half of back-to-back games. This timeshare has been ideal for Rask, as he's 4-0-1 over his last five starts, and he posted a .923 save percentage or better in each contest. The Blue Jackets are heating up, though, as they've won five of seven and totaled 20 goals in that stretch.
