According to coach Bruce Cassidy, Rask didn't practice Saturday because he "wasn't feeling well," Conor Ryan of MassLive.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Rask was expected to start Sunday against Philadelphia, but now that he's not feeling well, the Bruins may opt to play it safe and roll with Jaroslav Halak against the Flyers. Either way, an update on Rask's status should surface prior to puck drop Sunday afternoon.

Rask will tend the goal for Sunday's playoff matchup against the Flyers, Amalie Benjamin of NHL.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Although Rask split time with Jaroslav Halak during Thursday's exhibition loss to the Blue Jackets, coach Bruce Cassidy has elected to go with his usual starter for Sunday's opener. Through 41 game this campaign, the Vezina Trophy finalist has gone 26-8-6 with a 2.12 GAA and five shutouts. Cassidy did add that he expects Rask and Halak to share time during the round-robin portion of the playoffs, but look for Rask to be the workhorse starting with the second round.

Rask will be in goal for Thursday's exhibition clash with Columbus, Amalie Benjamin of NHL.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Rask figures to see the bulk of the workload for the Bruins this postseason, though coach Bruce Cassidy could utilize Jaroslav Halak in one of the club's three round-robin matchups in order to keep Rask fresh for a deep run. In 41 appearances this year, Rask has gone 26-8-6 with a 2.12 GAA and five shutouts, earning a Vezina Trophy nomination.

Rask relayed Tuesday that he recently fractured a finger on his glove hand when he slipped while doing a step exercise on a box, Joe Haggerty of NBC Sports Boston reports.
EDGE Analysis
As a result, the Bruins' top goalie has been sporting a splint on his left ring and middle finger. While the issue is improving, per Rask, it still hurts at times when he catches a puck. On the plus side, Conor Ryan of MassLive.com notes that Rask expects to be 100 percent for the postseason.

Rask (undisclosed) returned to practice Friday, Joe Haggerty of NBC Sports Boston reports.
EDGE Analysis
Rask missed Thursday's session but seems to be good to go. The netminder figures to take the reins between the pipes going forward, though coach Bruce Cassidy could give one of the round-robin games to backup Jaroslav Halak just to ensure he is ready if needed.

Rask (undisclosed) didn't take part in Thursday's practice, Amalie Benjamin of NHL.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Rask left Wednesday's on-ice session early after getting stung by a puck before missing Thursday's practice entirely, but at this point it's safe to assume the Bruins are just being cautious with their star netminder's health. Another update on the 33-year-old Finn's status should be made available once he's able to rejoin his teammates for training.

Rask refuted earlier reports that he was mulling retirement after the 2020-21 season, telling reporters, "I'm sure we're going to have good conversations with (Don Sweeney) after this season and go from there. But I'm only 34, so it's not too old, might play another year or two and go from there. I don't want to promise anything either way because you never know what's going to happen," Joe Haggerty of NBC Sports Boston reports.
EDGE Analysis
While it's certainly encouraging news for the Bruins faithful, the focus for many will be getting back to the Stanley Cup Finals after losing out to St. Louis last year. In 41 appearances this year, the 32-year-old has posted a 26-8-6 record with five shutouts and a 2.12 GAA. If the regular season resumes, the netminder could split time with Jaroslav Halak but figures to be the No. 1 guy if the league goes straight into the playoffs.

Rask may be considering retirement following the 2020-21 season, Matt Porter of the Boston Globe reports.
EDGE Analysis
In his interview, Rask mentioned that he may retire after his contract expires after the 2020-21 season, citing that he wants to spend more time with his family. The 33-year-old Finn is still at the top of his game, recording a 2.12 GAA and .929 save percentage alongside a 26-8-6 record this season. Rask's career .922 save percentage is tied for the best mark of any goalie with at least 300 games played in NHL history.

Rask stopped 29 shots at even strength, five on the power play and then two in short-handed situations. This was his second shutout in the last four games, which has propelled Rask to a league-leading 2.12 GAA. He is also 26-8-6 with a .929 save percentage this season.

Rask will guard the net versus the Flyers on the road Tuesday, Mike Loftus of The Patriot Ledger reports.
EDGE Analysis
Rask was shelled by the Lightning his last time out to the tune of four goals allowed on 24 shots (.833 save percentage). The netminder has already reached the 25-win mark for the seventh straight year but may not get enough starts down the stretch to get to 30. With Rask going Tuesday, coach Bruce Cassidy will give Thursday's road start against Buffalo to Jaroslav Halak.
