Jarry will be between the pipes for Friday's clash with Carolina.
EDGE Analysis
Jarry will be making his 12th appearance in the crease for the Penguins, having posted a 5-2-2 record and 2.43 GAA in those outings. Pittsburgh has not provided a timeline for Matt Murray's (undisclosed) return, so it's unclear how long the 22-year-old Jarry will be carrying the load. For a player slated to spend the year in the minors, the British Columbia native has firmly cemented himself into the backup role.

Jarry allowed one goal while facing 10 shots in relief during a 4-0 loss versus the Ducks on Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
Coach Mike Sullivan inserted Jarry in hopes of sparking his team. It didn't work, as the Penguins were absolutely embarrassed at home. Jarry was perfectly fine in relief, though, as the only goal he allowed was an unstoppable shot while shorthanded. With the Penguins entering the Christmas break outside the playoff picture, major changes could be coming to Pittsburgh, and it's not inconceivable to say Jarry will get more starts moving forward. The Penguins played some of their best hockey with Jarry in net while Matt Murray was injured late in November, and Murray hasn't been great lately. Jarry is 5-2-2 with a .918 save percentage and 2.43 GAA this season.

Jarry saved 26 of 27 shots during Monday's 2-1 loss to Colorado.
EDGE Analysis
After allowing 10 goals through his previous three outings for an .859 save percentage and 4.28 GAA, this was a nice rebound from the Jarry. He's now appeared in eight consecutive games for the Penguins with Matt Murray (lower body) on the shelf, but the two-time champion is nearing a return. As a result, the 22-year-old rookie will likely return to backup duty or potentially return to the minors to see consistent starts. A huge decline in fantasy value is looming.

Jarry will be between the pipes against Colorado on Monday, Jason Mackey of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports.
EDGE Analysis
Jarry will be making his seventh straight appearance in the crease for the Penguins. The netminder will be looking to bounce back from a three-goal performance versus the Maple Leafs in which he allowed three goals on just 16 shots in the first period before getting the hook. Once Matt Murray (lower body) is given the green light -- perhaps as soon as Thursday -- Jarry will likely resume the backup role with Casey DeSmith returning to AHL Wilkes-Barre/Scranton.

Jarry left after allowing three goals in the first period against the Maple Leafs during a 4-3 loss on Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
This was Jarry's first real poor performance of this season although it was hardly his fault. The Penguins failed to mark bodies in their own zone early in the game, which resulted in a 2-0 deficit less than two minutes into the contest. Jarry has allowed 10 goals in his last three games, but until Matt Murray returns, Pittsburgh has no choice but to continue starting the 22-year-old. The only other goaltender the Penguins have available is career minor leaguer Casey DeSmith, who finished Saturday's game against the Maple Leafs.

Jarry will guard the cage in Saturday's home matchup with the Maple Leafs, Sam Werner of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports.
EDGE Analysis
Jarry has been shaky recently, posting a 1-1-0 record while registering an ugly 3.50 GAA and .873 save percentage in his last two appearances. The 22-year-old netminder will look to get back on track Saturday in a tough home matchup with a Maple Leafs club that's averaging an impressive 3.67 goals per game on the road this season, first in the NHL.

Jarry stopped 23 of 26 shots in Thursday's win over the Islanders.
EDGE Analysis
Jarry has taken over the crease with Matt Murray (lower body) sidelined and he's sporting a terrific .921 save percentage in eight appearances. He hasn't been perfect in each of his two recent starts, allowing a total of seven goals, but Jarry has suffered just one regulation loss this season and has looked great. The youngster is finding ways to win games and can be rolled out with confidence while Murray is out.

Jarry will get the starting nod for Thursday' clash with the Islanders, Sam Kasan of Pens Inside Scoop reports.
EDGE Analysis
Jarry suffered his first loss after taking over for the injured Matt Murray (lower body) against the Rangers on Tuesday. The 22-year-old Jarry will no doubt be hoping his teammates can stay out of the box considering the Long Island club has the eighth best power-play efficiency (21.73 percent) in the NHL.

Jarry made 25 saves on 29 shots in Tuesday's 4-3 loss to the Rangers.
EDGE Analysis
Jarry's team enjoyed a 44-29 edge in shots on goal, but New York backup Ondrej Pavelec thoroughly outplayed his Pittsburgh counterpart. Pittsburgh often dominates possession, so Jarry should continue to be a solid source of wins with Matt Murray (lower body) sidelined, despite this hiccup.

Jarry will guard the goal in Tuesday's home game against the Rangers, Jason Mackey of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports.
EDGE Analysis
Jarry has been fantastic in his last two starts, turning aside 66 of the 67 shots he faced en route to back-to-back victories over the Sabres. The 22-year-old backstop will look to stay hot and pick up a fifth consecutive win Tuesday in a home matchup with a Rangers squad that's averaging 3.25 goals per game on the road this campaign, fifth in the NHL.
