Chabot was named QMJHL playoff MVP after helping lead the Saint John Sea Dogs to a four-game sweep of Blainsville-Boisbriand and the QMJHL Championship.
EDGE Analysis
To recap, Chabot has won the following awards this season: World Junior Championship MVP, QMJHL Defenseman of the Year, and QMJHL playoff MVP. He will now try to add a Memorial Cup Championship to his resume. No prospect in the game has raised their stock more over this past season than Chabot. Although the Senators are playing in the Eastern Conference Final, their defense (outside of the all-world Erik Karlsson) has been a major issue at times during playoffs. The addition of Chabot should go a long way towards fixing those issues beginning with the 2017-18 season.

Chabot was reassigned to his QMJHL team Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
Chabot saw action in just one game this season, so it should not come as a surprise that the team sent him back to juniors. Selected by the Senators with the 18th pick of the 2015 NHL Draft, the blueliner has excelled in the OMJHL, especially last season, as he posted 45 points in 47 contests. The 19-year-old may be worth stashing away in dynasty leagues and will be one to watch out for next season.

Chabot will suit up as the seventh defender for Tuesday's matchup with Arizona, Steve Lloyd of TSN reports.
EDGE Analysis
Chabot will make his NHL debut Tuesday as coach Guy Boucher will utilize 11 forwards and seven defenders against the Coyotes. The teenager could still be returned to his junior team, QMJHL Saint John, prior to reaching the 10-game limit, but will be given an opportunity to show what he can do.

Chabot has survived most of Ottawa's cuts and could be a lock to make the opening day roster, Bruce Garrioch of the Ottawa Sun reports.
EDGE Analysis
Chabot has yet to make an appearance with Ottawa during the regular season, but he's torn up the juniors for three straight years. The 19-year-old had 11 goals and 34 assists in just 47 contests with the Saint John Sea Dogs in 2015-16, but it'll be a whole different game when he steps on the ice for his first NHL game. The blueliner won't be a realistic fantasy contributor this season, but he's now a name to keep close watch on in dynasty formats.

Chabot has been signed to an entry-level contract with the Senators.
EDGE Analysis
Chabot was the 18th overall selection in the 2015 NHL Entry Draft. While he could take a couple of years to reach the NHL, Cabot has a bright future as a smart skater responsible on both ends of the ice. Last season, he racked up 12 goals and 29 helpers with the Saint John Sea Dogs of the QMJHL.
