Skinner is expected to start Thursday at home versus the Rangers.
EDGE Analysis
Jack Campbell struggled in a loss to the Wild on Tuesday, so it's no surprise the Oilers are pivoting back to Skinner. The 24-year-old Skinner has allowed 11 goals on 59 shots so far, while the Rangers have scored 18 goals over six contests.

Skinner allowed three goals on 27 shots in Saturday's 3-2 overtime loss to the Jets.
EDGE Analysis
Skinner was steadier than in his first two appearances, but he squandered an early two-goal lead. The 24-year-old has surrendered 11 goals on 59 shots through three outings this season. With Jack Campbell also struggling, the Oilers' crease appears to be set for a win-and-stay-in approach. They're on the road Tuesday in Minnesota for their next game.

Skinner will be between the home pipes versus Winnipeg on Saturday, per Tony Brar of Oilers TV.
EDGE Analysis
Skinner has struggled in the early going, giving up eight goals on 32 shots in two appearances against the Canucks. He had a big season in 2022-23, going 29-14-5 with a 2.75 GAA and .913 save percentage. Skinner will face the Jets, who have the same 1-3-0 record as the Oilers, scoring 11 times this season.

Skinner stopped 12 of 16 shots in Saturday's 4-3 loss to the Canucks.
EDGE Analysis
While the Oilers racked up 40 shots on goal, the Canucks proved far more efficient with their shooting. Skinner's stat line was identical to the one he posted in just over half of a game in the season opener Wednesday. The 24-year-old is simply letting too many goals in, but Jack Campbell also struggled in the opener. Usually the Oilers' offense can outscore any goaltending issues, but fantasy managers may want to deploy Skinner in favorable matchups only until he gets his performance back to the level he displayed last year.

Skinner will guard the home net Saturday against the Canucks, Tony Brar of Oilers TV reports.
EDGE Analysis
Both Skinner and Jack Campbell struggled against Vancouver in Wednesday's 8-1 loss to open the season. The 24-year-old Skinner will get the nod in the home opener, however, as he looks to bounce back against the same Canucks team. Skinner went 29-14-5 with a .913 save percentage last season. He's expected to split the workload with Campbell again in 2023-24.

Skinner stopped 12 of 16 shots in relief of Jack Campbell in Wednesday's 8-1 loss to the Canucks.
EDGE Analysis
Skinner and Campbell had identical stat lines, though Skinner had five more minutes of playing time. After stealing the starting job last year, Skinner's poor training camp allowed Campbell to reclaim the No. 1 gig to open 2023-24. Realistically, both goalies will get their share of starts this year, though Skinner likely has a bit more upside from a fantasy perspective. The 24-year-old went 29-14-5 with a 2.75 GAA and a .913 save percentage in 50 games last season.

EDGE Analysis
Skinner may be a finalist for the Calder Trophy, but he was pulled in three of his last four playoff games. It was a rocky ending to the year for the rookie netminder. He carried an .848 save percentage or worse in four of six games against the Golden Knights.

Skinner stopped 18 of 22 shots before he was pulled in Edmonton's 4-3 loss to Vegas in Game 5 on Friday.
EDGE Analysis
Skinner limited Vegas to just one goal on 11 shots in the first period. However, he was pulled from the game after allowing three markers during a stretch of just 1:29 late in the second period. With Edmonton now down 4-2, Jack Campbell stepped into the game and stopped the nine shots he faced. Skinner was charged with the loss, bringing him down to 5-5 with a 3.52 GAA and an .890 save percentage through 11 playoff outings. Skinner's struggles might lead to Campbell starting Sunday.

EDGE Analysis
Skinner has been highly inconsistent this series; in two wins, he's stopped 55 of 57 shots, but in the two losses, he's been tagged with nine goals on just 56 shots. The 24-year-old has now started all 11 games for the Oilers this postseason, registering an .895 save percentage in the process.
