Skinner is slated to start at home versus Vegas on Wednesday, per Oilers play-by-by announcer Jack Michaels.
EDGE Analysis
Skinner has a 34-14-5 record, 2.62 GAA and .906 save percentage in 55 outings in 2023-24. He saved 22 of 24 shots en route to a 6-2 win over Colorado in his last start Friday. Skinner has had mixed results against the Golden Knights this season, posting a 1-1-0 record while saving 46 of 52 shots (.885 save percentage) across two starts.

Skinner stopped 21 of 23 shots in Friday's 6-2 win over the Avalanche.
EDGE Analysis
In a battle of two Western Conference scoring juggernauts, Skinner was able to find a bit more success than Alexandar Georgiev. This wasn't a gem from Skinner by any means, but he settled in after allowing a pair of first-period tallies. The 25-year-old netminder has won four of his last six games, allowing 17 goals over that span. He's now at 34-14-5 with a 2.54 GAA and a .906 save percentage through 55 appearances. The Oilers are back in action at Calgary on Saturday, a game that will likely see Calvin Pickard between the pipes.

Skinner is slated to tend the twine at home versus the Avalanche on Friday.
EDGE Analysis
Skinner has suffered just one regulation loss in his last 13 appearances, posting an 8-1-3 record to go with a 2.34 GAA and .922 save percentage over that stretch. With a back-to-back up next on the schedule, Calvin Pickard will likely get the nod versus the Flames on the road Saturday. Still, Skinner should see the majority of the workload down the stretch and into the postseason.

Skinner allowed three goals on 29 shots in Monday's 3-2 overtime loss to St. Louis.
EDGE Analysis
It's the second loss in Skinner's last five starts -- he'd gone 3-1-0 in his prior four outings despite a mediocre .890 save percentage in that span. Overall, the 25-year-old Skinner is 33-14-5 with a .906 save percentage and 2.63 GAA this season. He'll likely be back in net Wednesday when the Oilers visit Dallas.

Skinner will defend the road cage against the Blues on Monday, Tony Brar of Oilers TV reports.
EDGE Analysis
Skinner is 3-1-1 in his last five outings despite posting a 3.16 GAA and .902 save percentage over that stretch. The 25-year-old netminder has already set new career highs in wins (33), shutouts (two) and games played (53) while sporting a personal-best 2.62 GAA.

Skinner stopped 31 of the Kings' 32 shots to lead Edmonton to a 4-1 victory Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
Skinner entered Thursday's contests coming off three straight shaky starts, over which he allowed 11 goals with an .857 save percentage. He's been streaky all season, with stretches of impressive play followed by strings of sub-par play. Prior to that three-game slump he had seven straight games with a save percentage of .920 or higher. Before that run? Six straight at .895 or worse. Fortunately for fantasy managers, even when he's not at the top of his game, Edmonton has been good enough to collect wins and make sure there's some value in starting him still.

Skinner will be in goal versus Los Angeles at home Thursday, Tony Brar of Oilers TV reports.
EDGE Analysis
Skinner has given up three or more goals in each of his last four outings but he still managed to secure a 2-1-1 record over that stretch. With a supporting cast that includes world-class center Connor McDavid, the 25-year-old Skinner should be able to continue to get by without having to be perfect. Simply good enough should do for the Edmonton native Skinner to keep collecting wins.

Skinner stopped 22 of 25 shots in Tuesday's 4-3 overtime victory over Winnipeg.
EDGE Analysis
After the Jets scored just once in the first two periods, Skinner allowed a pair of goals within a minute in the third. However, Zach Hyman tallied the game-winner 1:22 into overtime, giving Skinner the victory. The 25-year-old netminder has struggled a bit recently, posting an .857 over his last three starts, though he's gone 2-1-0 in that span behind Edmonton's high-powered offense. Skinner's now 32-14-4 on the year with a .905 save percentage and a 2.66 GAA. He'll likely be back in net Thursday when the Oilers host Los Angeles.

Skinner will defend the blue paint on the road against the Jets on Tuesday, Mark Spector of Sportsnet reports.
EDGE Analysis
Skinner struggled in his last start Saturday versus Toronto, surrendering five goals on just 23 shots before being replaced by Calvin Pickard for the third period of the eventual 6-3 loss. Skinner was credited with the defeat. He'll try to get back on track in a road matchup with a slumping Winnipeg squad that's lost three straight games.

Skinner allowed five goals on 23 shots through two periods in a 6-3 loss to the Maple Leafs on Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
The Oilers dominated every stat category well into the second frame, but the Leafs were opportunistic and took a 5-0 lead before Skinner left. He was replaced by Calvin Pickard. Skinner hadn't looked this rough since his early season struggles. Let's hope he can shake it off -- he's 2-1-2 in his last five starts after going 4-0-0.
