Over the last three games, Skinner has allowed 11 goals on 64 shots, but he's managed to win two of those contests. EDGE Analysis
Skinner has been shaky this postseason and was rocked for five goals on just 24 shots in a loss to the Canucks in Game 1 on Wednesday. Through six playoff games, he's registered an .893 save percentage and a 3.01 GAA. On the bright side, Skinner hasn't taken consecutive losses since Feb. 21 and 24.

Skinner allowed five goals on 24 shots in Wednesday's 5-4 loss to the Canucks in Game 1.
EDGE Analysis
Skinner held Vancouver to one goal through most of the first two periods before Elias Lindholm cut the lead to 4-2 late in the second. Skinner then allowed three more tallies in the third in the eventual one-goal defeat. The 25-year-old Skinner has been shaky at times this postseason -- he's posted an .893 save percentage through his first six playoff games. Nonetheless, Skinner will likely remain between the pipes for the Oilers in Game 2 on Friday.

Skinner is expected to guard the road goal in Game 1 against Vancouver on Wednesday, per Thomas Drance of The Athletic.
EDGE Analysis
Skinner earned a respectable 2.59 GAA and .910 save percentage in five first-round contests versus LA. However, he might have difficulty against the Canucks after posting a record of 0-3-0 with a 4.60 GAA and an .830 save percentage across four regular-season appearances versus Vancouver in 2023-24. It wouldn't be surprising to see Skinner challenged regularly by the Canucks, but the Oilers have averaged 4.40 goals per game in the postseason, so they're capable of putting themselves in a position to win even when their goaltending isn't the best.

Skinner stopped 18 of 21 shots in Wednesday's 4-3 Game 4 victory over Los Angeles.
EDGE Analysis
It wasn't the busiest game for Skinner, but the 25-year-old netminder did just enough for the one-goal win as the Oilers took the series 4-1. After allowing nine goals on 63 shots in his first two games of the series, Skinner looked better in his last three contests, posting a .951 save percentage. Edmonton will now get a few days off before they face the winner of the Vancouver-Nashville series in the second round.

That gives him a 3-1 record, 2.48 GAA and .919 save percentage in four playoff contests this year. The 25-year-old was streaky in the regular season, finishing with a 36-16-5 record, 2.62 GAA and .905 save percentage in 59 appearances, but Skinner seems to be on a roll with a chance to eliminate the Kings up for grabs.

The 25-year-old was able to make an Evan Bouchard power-play goal hold for the win Sunday. EDGE Analysis
Skinner turned in the first good goaltending performance on either side in this series, though he also had plenty of support from his offense. He's allowed 10 goals on 91 shots through three games, but the Oilers have scored 17 times to establish a 2-1 series lead.
