Stamkos scored a goal and an assist, both with the man advantage, in Tuesday's 4-2 win over the Capitals in Game 3.
EDGE Analysis
The Bolts' captain continues to make the opposition pay for ending up in the penalty box, scoring at least one point -- and at least one power-play point -- in six straight games. Stamkos now has six goals and 15 points in 13 games during this postseason, with 11 of those points (five goals, six assists) coming with the man advantage.

Stamkos scored a goal and an assist, both on the power play, in Sunday's 6-2 loss to the Capitals in Game 2.
EDGE Analysis
For 20 minutes it looked like the Lightning were going to even the series, as the team's power play -- with Stamkos in charge -- scored twice in just over three minutes to give Tampa a 2-1 lead heading into the first intermission. Unfortunately for the Bolts, the game was 60 minutes long. Stamkos now has a five-game point streak going and he's racked up five goals and 13 points in 12 games overall this postseason, but the 28-year-old may need to find another gear Tuesday in Washington if the team is going to keep its fading Stanley Cup hopes alive.

Stamkos picked up an assist in Sunday's Game 5 series clincher over Boston.
EDGE Analysis
Stamkos ended the series on a three-game point streak, after having been blanked in Games 1 and 2. The Ontario native is averaging 17:18 of ice time in the postseason, which is nearly a minute and a half less than his regular-season minutes. The 27-year-old will look to keep rolling in the next round against either Washington or Pittsburgh.

Stamkos recorded a goal and an assist in a 4-3 overtime victory against the Bruins on Friday. The Lightning lead the second-round series 3-1.
EDGE Analysis
The Lightning captain has struggled to score this postseason, but his team has still managed to start the spring 7-2, which is rather scary for the rest of the NHL. But Stamkos scored an empty-netter in Game 3, and then carried that into Friday, recording his first multi-point performance since Game 3 in the first round. Despite a tiny slump, Stamkos is still averaging a point per game with three goals and nine points in nine contests this spring.

Stamkos deposited a power-play goal into an empty net Wednesday in a Game 3 win over the Bruins.
EDGE Analysis
Even though the cage was unguarded for Stamkos, he still needed to fling the biscuit from center ice for his first point against the Bruins in this second-round series. An interesting fact is that Tampa Bay's lethal top line comprised of Stamkos, Nikita Kucherov and J.T. Miller has combined for just two points in these conference semifinals, yet the Lightning have a 2-1 series advantage heading into Game 4 in Boston on Friday.

Stamkos scored a goal and an assist, both on the power play, in Monday's 5-2 loss to the Devils in Game 3.
EDGE Analysis
He now has at least one point in all three games to begin the playoffs, and Stamkos looks 100 percent after missing the final three games of the regular season with a lower-body injury. The Tampa power play has arguably been the difference in the series so far, and if it keeps roaring look for the 28-year-old to have another big performance Wednesday.

As expected, Stamkos (lower body) will dress for Thursday's Game 1 against the Devils, Bryan Burns of the Lightning's official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
Stamkos rested for the final three games of the regular season because of his lower-body issue and it wouldn't be surprising if he's less than 100 percent taking the ice for the first game of the playoffs. The star pivot should retake his spot on the top line and power-play unit in his return and should draw early consideration in playoff drafts as part of a Lightning squad that ranks among the favorites to hoist the Stanley Cup.

Stamkos (lower body) is expected to play in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference quarterfinals versus the Devils on Thursday, theScore reports.
EDGE Analysis
Stamkos has been unlucky in dealing with injuries and related issues around playoff time in recent years, so you can bet the Lightning faithful collectively exclaimed, "not again!" when the star pivot left an April 1 contest against the Predators with a lower-body injury that would cause him to sit out the final three games of the regular season. However, Stammer's been practicing with the team in his usual top-line capacity, so it appears that fantasy owners in playoff pools will be able to use him as normal Thursday. The 2008 first overall pick fashioned 27 goals and 59 assists to complement 33 power-play points in 78 regular-season contests.

Stamkos (lower body) is hoping to be ready for Game 1 of the Lightning's series against the Devils on Thursday, Bryan Burns of the Lightning's official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
Stamkos was shut down for the last three games of the regular season, with the goal of suiting up come playoff time. The center appears to be on track, including practicing on Tampa's top line. Although the Ontario native is bogged down in a 12-game goal drought, he still managed to notch nine helpers over that stretch.

Stamkos (lower body) will miss the final two games of the regular season, according to Lightning coach Jon Cooper, who is not ruling out the star pivot returning to practice next week, Bryan Burns of the Lightning's official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
Stamkos' situation perfectly illustrates why you shouldn't have your fantasy playoffs covering the entire duration of the NHL's regular season; playoff teams have a tendency to err on the side of caution this late in the year. The 28-year-old finishes with 86 points (27 goals, 59 assists), plus he factored into 33 scoring plays on the man advantage.
