Stamkos dished out three assists and found the back of the net once in Wednesday's 7-3 win over Florida.
EDGE Analysis
With Wednesday's offensive breakout, Stamkos is nearly back to a point-per-game production. He's posted seven goal and 21 points in 22 games. Also worth noting, he's averaging just 17:35 of ice time per game after averaging 18:46 last season.

Stamkos has just two assists, both on the power play, in his last five games.
EDGE Analysis
He's also minus-5 in that span. Stammer has struggled this season and has just six goals and 11 assists, along with a minus-4 rating. The league has clearly adjusted to the Stamkos-Nikita Kucherov pairing, especially those cross-ice seam passes in the offensive zone. Splitting them up permanently may be needed get Stamkos back to the fantasy place he was last season. But beware -- the Bolts continue to be among the Eastern Conference's best, so don't expect too many changes. If it works for them, they may not break it.

Stamkos had a goal and two assists in a 5-2 victory over Edmonton on Tuesday night.
EDGE Analysis
Stamkos has three multi-point games in his last five outings; he has put up four goals and four assists in that span. Slowly but surely, Stammer is starting to flex his offensive muscles and he now has 13 points (five goals, eight assists) in 15 games. He's a mandatory activation, so this heat spell comes as a relief to his owners.

Stamkos scored twice in a 4-1 win over Montreal on Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
He finished plus-3. Stamkos has two, three-point efforts in his last three games. It looks like Rip Van Winkle is finally waking up (he had just five points in his first 10 games). Be sure you have this stud in your lineup. Or see if he can be had in trade.

Stamkos has played all 10 of the Lightning's games so far, but has only scored one goal.
EDGE Analysis
He has five points overall, but no multi-point games. And he and Nikita Kucherov have been split up. Stamkos is playing with Brayden Point and Yanni Gourde, and is in the process of re-adjusting his mindset once again. Last season, Stammer became set-up man to Kooch, but now he needs to be the shooter again. He has two points in the last three games and 19 shots in his last six games. A breakout will come. Don't give up on him yet.

Stamkos scored his first goal of the season Thursday, contributing to a 3-1 home win over the Red Wings.
EDGE Analysis
You'd have to dig into the NHL archives and pull up the March 3, 2018 game logs to see the last time Stamkos found the back of the net in a regular-season contest. Tampa's 2008 first overall draft pick also had a single assist counting as his lone point through four games heading into Thursday's action, so it's good to see the elite pivot finally break through. Stammer will look to keep it going against the Wild in Minnesota on Saturday.

Stamkos failed to put up any points in Saturday's win over Florida.
EDGE Analysis
Put simply, Stamkos was just too unselfish -- he and Nikita Kucherov seemed intent on passing to each other rather than taking a shot. The entire Bolts squad struggled to generate scoring chances, but it was just game one. Stamkos will deliver top-20 or better offence this season by the time it's done.

Stamkos came into camp stronger than he has in several years, reports the Tampa Times.
EDGE Analysis
"I feel good, and that's all you can ask for," Stamkos said. "I feel confident in the way I was able to train and how the body reacted... I didn't have to worry about rehabbing anything or taking it easy on certain things. So I'm excited to feel pretty normal heading into a training camp." Over the last few years, Stamkos has struggled through a serious knee injury, blood clot and busted leg each offseason. But a pain-free summer should mean another point-per-game (or more) season for the 28-year-old pivot. Draft him with confidence.

Stamkos came up empty on two shots in the series loss to the Capitals on Wednesday. Still, the captain finished the 2018 playoffs with seven goals, nine assists and 12 power-play points over 17 games.
EDGE Analysis
While Stamkos produced offensively at a pace expected from an elite center, he failed to put the team on his back when they needed him the most. According to Reddit Hockey -- and as relayed from Jeff Veillette of The Faceoff Circle -- Stamkos has been held without a point in the past nine games when facing elimination, which is a rather surprising statistic concerning one of the league's top centers. Still, if there's a silver lining it's that 2008's first overall draft pick managed to stay healthy and played out the entire postseason schedule.

Stamkos scored a power-play goal while firing a team-high four shots in Thursday's 4-2, Game 4 win over Washington.
EDGE Analysis
Stamkos has been terrific with the extra man, as six of his seven goals this postseason have come in such situations. The Lightning's captain now has a power-play goal in each of this series' first four games, and his team has capitalized on the power play at least once in each of the past nine contests.
