Stamkos scored a goal and added an assist in Friday's 5-2 win over the Blackhawks.
EDGE Analysis
Stamkos is fitting in just fine as the right wing on Brayden Point's line. The former has racked up two goals and five points through two games this year, although both have been against the decidedly below-average Blackhawks. Stamkos added four shots on goal and a plus-2 rating Friday. Fantasy managers in daily formats will have to wait until Thursday to insert Stamkos back into their lineups after the Lightning's games versus the Stars on Sunday and Tuesday were postponed.

Stamkos scored a goal and two assists -- including a goal and assist on the power play -- along with five shots in Wednesday's 5-1 win over the Blackhawks.
EDGE Analysis
Stamkos assisted on Ondrej Palat's power-play tally in the first period, then scored himself with the extra man in the second before picking up an even-strength helper on Brayden Point's goal in the third. The Lightning's captain is expected to lead the team's high-powered offense with Nikita Kucherov (hip) out for the regular season, and Stamkos was up to the task on Opening Night. Any concerns about the abdominal injury that Stamkos addressed with offseason surgery were put to bed with this performance.

Stamkos (abdomen) doesn't look limited at all at training camp, reports Joe Smith of The Athletic.
EDGE Analysis
Stammer has been throwing his weight around, engaging in physical battles, and his one-timer is "on point." He's back on the top line with Nikita Kucherov on the IR and that could put Stamkos on another 40-goal pace. That's borderline first-round material.

General manager Julien BriseBois expects Stamkos (abdomen) to be ready for the start of the regular season, Joe Smith of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Stamkos underwent a core muscle procedure in October, and although he may be eased in during training camp, he should be ready to rock when Tampa Bay raises its Stanley Cup banner Jan. 13 against the Blackhawks. Stamkos was plagued by injuries last year, but he was one of the best forwards in the league when healthy, racking up 29 goals, 37 assists and 176 shots on goal in just 57 contests. If he's able to avoid the injury bug in 2020-21, he'll be a premiere fantasy option.

Stamkos (abdomen) is on track to be ready for the start of the season, reports The Athletic. He had surgery in October.
EDGE Analysis
Stammer has been skating with teammates and doesn't seem to have suffered any setbacks in his recovery after surgery to repair a left-side lower abdominal muscle. Core surgery rehabilitation is tricky, so this is good news. All eyes will be on Tampa's captain when camp opens and if healthy, Stamkos has the talent and skill to continue to excel.

Stamkos (abdomen) underwent an additional core muscle procedure Wednesday but is expected to be ready for the start of the 2020-21 season, Joe Smith of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Stamkos was able to play in just one game for the Lightning during the playoffs in which he scored a goal on one shot in only 2:47 of ice time. Once cleared for the upcoming season, the 29-year-old should get back to being a point-per-game producer and elite fantasy option.

Stamkos (lower body) is expected to be fully fit and ready to play for the start of the 2020-21 campaign, Erik Erlendsson of LightningInsider.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Stamkos played in just one game during the postseason in which he managed to score a goal despite logging a mere 2:47 of ice time. Despite not having the elite center, the team still managed to lift Lord Stanley's cup. During the regular season, Stamkos averaged over a point per game for the fourth straight year and should be an early-round selection in nearly all season-long formats.

Coach Jon Cooper said Stamkos (lower body) won't return to the Stanley Cup Final against Dallas, Emily Kaplan of ESPN reports.
EDGE Analysis
Stamkos made his playoff debut in Game 3 and logged just 2:47 of ice time, but he managed to score a goal on his only shot. The injury has proved to be too much to play through, however, so the Lightning will need to close out the Stars without their captain in the lineup.

Stamkos (undisclosed) won't be available for Saturday's Game 5 against the Stars, Tom Gulitti of NHL.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Lightning will have a chance to clinch the Cup with a win Saturday, so it's quite possible we won't see Stamkos on the ice again this postseason. The 30-year-old pivot made his 2019-20 postseason debut in Wednesday's Game 3, and he made the most of his brief appearance, potting a goal in just 2:47 of ice time before reaggravating his injury and missing the rest of the eventual 5-2 win. If the Lightning are able to secure Lord Stanley's Cup without Stamkos' assistance Saturday, it will be important to closely monitor the oft-injured forward's health heading into next year's fantasy drafts.

Stamkos (undisclosed) will not be in action for Friday's Game 4 clash with Dallas.
EDGE Analysis
Coach Jon Cooper was clear that Stamkos hasn't been ruled out for the rest of the Stanley Cup Finals, though with a back-to-back on the schedule, it seems unlikely the veteran center would be ready for Game 5 on Saturday. In his lone appearance this postseason, Stamkos scored a goal on one shot in just 2:47 of ice time in Game 3. If he doesn't play, Stamkos could certainly provide top-end fantasy value even if stuck in a bottom-six role as a way to manage his minutes.
