Weber will miss Saturday's game against the Stars due to a lower-body injury, Adam Vingan of The Tennessean reports. Weber missed three games with a lower-body injury a little over a week ago, but had played in each of the Preds' last three contests, tallying no points despite putting 15 shots on goal. It doesn't appear that he's suffered a setback with the injury; instead, it's likely just the case where the team wanted to give him a little more maintenance time with the playoff approaching. Weber will be rested along with Cody Franson (upper body), Roman Josi (lower body), and Mike Fisher (lower body) for Saturday's relatively meaningless regular-season finale.

Weber (lower body) is slated to return to the lineup Saturday against the Stars, NHL.com's Robby Stanley reports. Weber was able to practice the previous two days without any complications and reclaimed his usual post on the first defensive pairing during Saturday's morning skate, signaling that he's good to go after a three-game absence. It's probably advisable to activate Weber right away, since he'll likely be a better option for Saturday's slate than any other blueliners fantasy owners might have at their disposal.

Weber (lower body) practiced with the Oilers on Thursday. Coach Peter Laviolette was pleased with how Weber performed during the session, but was unwilling to declare the defenseman as good to go for Saturday's game against the Stars. With another positive practice Friday, Weber could be on the cusp of returning to the lineup after a three-game absence.

GM David Poile said Tuesday that Weber (lower body) will be out until at least Saturday's game against the Stars, John Glennon of The Tennessean reports. As a result, Weber will his third straight game when the Predators host the Canucks on Tuesday, but Poile seemed highly confident that the blueliner would be fully healthy by the time the postseason arrives. Weber has yet to resume skating since suffering the injury, so it's far from guaranteed at this time that he'll be able to play Saturday.

Weber (lower body) did not skate with his teammates Tuesday morning. Weber thus remains in the day-to-day category as Tuesday night's game against the Canucks approaches.

Weber (lower body) won't play Sunday against Calgary, Willy Daunic of ESPN Nashville reports. Weber -- who also missed Saturday's game against the Caps -- thus remains day-to-day in advance of Tuesday's game against the Canucks.

Weber (lower body) is considered day-to-day and will be re-evaluated prior to Sunday's game against Calgary, The Tennessean reports. Weber was unable to take the ice Saturday against Washington due to a lower body injury. Anton Volchenkov filled in for Weber on Saturday and will likely do so again Sunday if Weber is unable to go.

Weber will not play Saturday against the Capitals due to a lower-body injury, Adam Vingan of The Tennessean reports. There wasn't any indication prior to pregame warmups that Weber was nursing an injury, but it looks like the ailment is serious enough to bump him from the lineup for the first time all season. The Predators are listing Weber as day-to-day, so it remains uncertain if he'll be able to return to action Sunday against the Predators. Weber, who has 15 goals, 45 points, and a plus-15 rating over 75 contests, will be replaced Saturday by Anton Volchenkov, who functions mostly as a stay-at-home defenseman.

Weber picked up an assist and recorded four shots on goal in Saturday's 3-0 win over the Sabres. Weber hasn't been immune to the Predators' collective struggles over the last few weeks, as he's managed to provide only one goal and two assists over his last 16 games. The blueliner's early-season excellence still keeps his overall numbers strong (15 goals, 45 points, plus-15 over 73 games) and should assure him of a regular spot in most fantasy lineups, but Weber will be a less attractive play in daily leagues until he starts rolling again.

Weber blasted home his 15th goal of the season in Saturday's 4-3 loss to the Red Wings. He also fired off a whopping nine shots on goal for the second time in three games, and played over half the game (30:25 TOI). With 23 shots in the last three games, Weber has been a one-man shooting gallery on Nashville's blue line, so it was nice to see the captain rewarded on an absolute bomb of a one-timer in the second period. He and partner Roman Josi have been lighting it up as arguably the best d-pair in the league, combining for 89 points, 340 SOG, a silly plus-39 rating and 86 PIM. Weber is also seventh among Western Conference d-men with 136 hits, so he provides value in all categories and has been as-advertised as a bonafide fantasy stud this season.
