Spooner is likely to be scratched from Game 5 against the Senators on Friday, Joe Haggerty of CSNNE.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Spooner reportedly was omitted from line rushes at morning skate, hence the feeling that he won't play in his hometown for a must-win playoff match. The 25-year-old produced a pair of assists in consecutive overtime losses during this Round 1 series, but he's otherwise struggled with a minus-2 rating. Spooner will be a restricted free agent this summer and thus is no lock to stay with the B's. In fact, if the Bruins lose this next one, he may find himself in a new sweater in 2017-18.

Spooner registered a power-play assist during Monday's Game 3 loss to Ottawa.
EDGE Analysis
Spooner also picked up a helper with the man advantage in Game 2, but he appears to be morphing into a bit of a power-play specialist in the series. His even-strength ice time was cut to just 7:14, which was the lowest among all Bruins. That's obviously not encouraging for his current fantasy value, regardless of his active two-game point streak.

Spooner scored the opening goal during Sunday's win over Chicago.
EDGE Analysis
The 25-year-old forward hasn't been able to match last season's production (13 goals and 49 points), and Spooner has also showed much less offensive consistency at even strength. However, he's been a little better of late with a goal and five helpers through his past 10 games. Still, Spooner is likely best left to deeper seasonal settings.

Spooner (concussion) recorded an assist in 14:40 worth of ice time in his return to action in Wednesday's 5-2 win over the Flames.
EDGE Analysis
Spooner, who had missed the B's previous three contests, logged 2:33 worth of power play ice time Wednesday, while lifting his season stat line to 11/24/35 over 66 games. 14 of Spooner's points have come with the man advantage and as long as he continues to see his share of power play action, he'll maintain a degree of fantasy utility down the stretch.

Spooner (concussion) will rejoin the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Flames.
EDGE Analysis
The 25-year-old forward had missed three straight contests after suffering a concussion against the Senators. Fantasy owners need not be concerned with his status in regards to a concussion moving forward and can utilize him normally in both season-long and daily formats. While Spooner hasn't busted out following a promising 2015-16 campaign, he has tallied 11 goals and 23 assists through 65 games this season and had 12 points in 16 games prior to the injury. He will look to pick up where he left off in Wednesday's contest, with just under a month remaining in the regular season.

Spooner (concussion) centered the Bruins' third line at the team's morning skate in advance of Wednesday night's road game against the Flames.
EDGE Analysis
Barring any setbacks, it looks like Spooner will be cleared to man the middle of the B's third line Wednesday, flanked by Frank Vatrano and Jimmy Hayes. Spooner, who has logged 11 goals and 34 points in 65 games overall, certainly has the skills to produce at a higher rate, though such a potential outcome is largely tied to the amount of power play ice time he sees.

Though Spooner (concussion) won't play Monday against the Canucks, coach Bruce Cassidy hasn't yet ruled the forward out for Wednesday's game against the Flames, the Boston Herald reports.
EDGE Analysis
Spooner skated with the B's on Sunday, which is a step in the right direction and upon his return, look for him to reclaim his spot as the team's third-line center. Whether that happens as soon as Wednesday remains to be seen, but barring any setbacks it appears as though Spooner's concussion shouldn't keep him out too much longer.

Spooner (concussion) has been ruled out for Monday's road game in Vancouver.
EDGE Analysis
Spooner will miss his third straight game after sustaining the injury on March 6 against the Senators. Concussions are notoriously difficult to forecast return timetables for, but head coach Bruce Cassidy reported that Spooner is progressing well through the concussion protocol. That said, it doesn't seem likely that he'll return without a couple days of skating and practice under his belt, so it seems unlikely that Spooner will come back for the team's games in Alberta on Wednesday or Thursday, either.

Spooner (concussion) won't play Saturday against the Flyers, CSN's Joe Haggerty reports.
EDGE Analysis
Spooner has been doing what the report describes as "light activity," with Haggerty further suggesting that it sounds like the forward is "well on his way toward a return in the next 5-10 days barring any setbacks." In the meantime, look for Austin Czarnik to continue to man the middle of the Bruins' third line.

Spooner (concussion) was knocked out of Monday's game against Ottawa in the third period, and he will be out indefinitely while following concussion protocol.
EDGE Analysis
This injury will be costly for the Bruins, who are currently in playoff position. Spooner is posting just over a point every two games, and he clocks time on Boston's top power-play line as well. The Bruins will likely ration playing time to Matt Beleskey and Jimmy Hayes to fill in for the time being. Stay tuned as Spooner works toward recovery.
